Stereoscopy

A.K.A. Wearing pieces of different-colored/polarized plastic on each eye to trick you into think stuff's not just a flat image on your computer screen, but is actually happening, assuming you weren't already deluded enough into thinking it already was actually happening. Sometimes ruined by nausea and the breaking of the illusion of immersion by your landlord/parents/siblings/roommates/little goblin in your brain yelling at you.
I would put this in Suggestions but I can't remember whether or not there's already a way to do this without the game needing any patches/changes. Post your preferred solutions here! And be on the lookout for any that implement the use of the ubiquitous dinky little red/cyan glasses, because those are the only kind I have on me at the present time.

I had figured there was already some way to see the game in 3D but I guess I was wrong.

Most 3D hardware such as Nvidia 3D Vision requires Direct3D. Spiral Knights runs in OpenGL renderer. I don't think there's a way to force Direct3D in Spiral Knights.
I've even tried GLDirect to wrap OpenGL to Direct3D, but that resulted in the game not launching.

^Geekfox's post is the kind of response I was hoping to see. And now that it's been established that it's not possible at SK at current, this is now 100% a suggestion for future things to implement into SK
The game must support this to work, so move it to suggestions please...
(not that I expect this to be realised, but...)
