So I was heating up my Toxie bomb in FSC yesterday, and I happened to be doing the bottom/right room in Charred court, the one with the zombies, trolljan and the two silkwings.

"Oh, I have just the solution for this!" I thought, and dropped a nice poison haze over the lot of them. "Surely this will not only halt the silkwings' healing, but cause it to deal damage to the monsters instead!"

I thought poison stopped the

I thought poison stopped the target from being healed? Maybe the trojan wasn't poisoned?

Or its just another example of OOO bug fixes

select the right option

1. They changed poison again
2. silkwing is immune, try with gremlins
3. Trojan are immune
4. The poison from the bomb is too weak, try with vials/another weap

maybe trojans are immune?

maybe trojans are immune? just like lumbers to curse.

Or another OOO stealthpatch aka 'you dont need to know what we do, you will know only what we will tell you, and if you will find something we did, we wont even comment on it.'

No-Thanks

A poisoned mender does not

A poisoned mender does not deliver damage although a cursed mender damages itself.

The target enemy must be poisoned in order for mending to be received as damage.
Did you see the poison bubbles emanating from the trojan?

Debi? Are you the impervious

Debi? Are you the impervious member that took a 4* nublet into fsc with general jay and bubbles?

erm....slight corrections :)

@asukalanforum lumbers arent immune to curse, unless they have been steath-patched to do that, i remember curseing lumbers when low on life :P

@debianlinux trojans are not immune to statuses, i light them with my FoV for fun :D trojans are howeverm like the rest of undeads, immune to curse, jsut like constructs are immune to sleep :)

i dont think poison is supposed to dmg anything, like others said, rather to keep them from healing :)

Trojans are Fiends. Also

Trojans are Fiends. Also poison does damage healing mobs, and I can personally vouch for having killed Slags in Firestorm via Silkwings using Venom Veiler. Which presents four posibilities;

  • Nicoya is silly and simply didn't actually poison anything
  • The damage numbers are being display as healing instead (Wouldn't be the first time a glitch like this has occured)
  • A very recent stealth patch, in which case I sincerely hope this is a glitch or whomever is responsible should be slapped
  • Different levels of poison have different effects on healing, or possibly that there are different levels of healing that interact with poison in different ways. This could use testing if so.

I'll test this later when I get chance just to reaffirm whether or not VV still works as it should, and if it does I propose some people test the possibility of different levels of poison/healing and how they interact.

lumbers can be cursed, but

lumbers can be cursed, but they wont take damage when doing lumber swing. so basically curse dont affects them

If the trojan is indeed

If the trojan is indeed susceptible to poison then I suspect it must be affected through the crystal.

Silly me for implying they were immune to all status because I freeze them all the time with a shivermist. The trick is to detonate the mist and to get the trojan to turn so that his back is facing where the bomb detonated.

Maybe the same tactic is effective with the venom veiler?

This is true of all status bombs; Trojans and for that matter any of enemy with a shield will only be afflicted with the status if their shield is turned away from the center of the radius, where the bomb initially went off. So Trojans and Slag Guards need to have their back to it where as Darkfang Thwackers and Canavrons need to be facing it.

Uh, poison reverses healing

Uh, poison reverses healing to damaging on poisoned monsters, don't know where'd this "poison does nothing" thing came from, they fixed poison MONTHS ago. Months, like MONTHS. And if your haze doesn't affect a trojan then try maybe planting it so that the trojan is with his back to the bomb placement (apparently there is lots of derps that think planting a shivermist in front of a trojan will freeze it, welp).

I have a Venom Veiler so i can show you what poison does around gremlin menders so in case you want to see it send me a friend/part invite.
EDIT: wanted to post this 10 minutes ago eh, should've refreshed before posting.

I did kite the trolljan into

I did kite the trolljan into turning its back to the poison bomb, and it did get poisoned, as did the three slags. I don't know if it was a graphical glitch, but I definitely wasn't expecting to keep seeing the red +whatever numbers.
