The other day, when i was doing fsc, I noticed something strange.
Not paying attention, I walked into a slag breath. Frantic shielding, even after being lit on fire, I decided to just tank it out. I watched my health bar.... not disappear o.o
So, is this a bug? Being lit on fire by a slag breath, shielding while in the breath itself, and not taking a tick of fire damage.
Slaaaaags. As in, fsc fire breathing overnerfed face slaping slaaaags.
Yes, I'm talking about the damage that a fire status inflicts.
Nope. Not one bit of fire resist. Too poor for 5* right now. Which is why I'm soloing fsc when I have the time for the crowns.
So, I just tested this again. Picked out a slag in smoldering steps, and waited for him to breath flames on me. I didn't take damage, any damage, from the fire status until my shield stopped blocking the breath. And there was around 2 seconds left, so I took one tick of fire damage with it worse off.
Slags have good table manners. They wipe their mouths after using their breath attack. Anyone else notice this?
Yeah; with bad manners like that, you could get someone fired up.
Shields can block damage from status effects, I think.
Like my shield can block the damage from shock so long as I keep it up, but it does NAT to fire.
Shields *should* only block some of the fire damage. My BTS has uv fire low and I still take damage from burns while shielding.
Dunno if shields do block fire. I know it blocks shock. Maybe a shield blocks a small amount of fire?
But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about not taking damage, at all, from fire status itself.
The breath doesn't do damage. Only status.
If you stand in front of a regular zombie's breath, you will just get stunned.
If you mean the afterburn itself, you must have had really high fire resistance.
