So on my last few FSC runs I've found myself rushing the middle section of the map right after the 6 statue room. Rather than the usual thing of blow up boxes, grab totem, kill zombies, blow up more boxes, hit buttons, etc..., I'll instead just rush past the spikes, kill the two wheel launchers with my polaris, and then rush past the next shadow fire bramble and kill that wall of wheel launchers while the rest of my team cleans up behind me.

I think soloing I'd still do it the slow way, clearing it sequentially, just to satisfy the the "no crown left behind" OCD gremlin in me... But I dunno, when I've got a team mopping up the slags behind me, why not?

I'm almost tempted to rush the 6 statue room too, but I'm not sure my team would appreciate the two wheel launchers spawning early...

Didn't occur to me that a charge shot would make it past the gates. I'll have to try that with my voltedge next time I go down.

I don't rush past it but I do

I don't rush past it but I do leave the gates down and break a wheel. It stopes the next set of wheels pushing zombies all the way down to the bottom.

I'm really into doing it all, just pressing buttons etc.
Running across spikes is nothing for me, I'm too defensive for that :P.

I like to leave the gates up so zombies get smashed as I run past them.
Also gives you a safeguard if you ever fail at the beggining of that part, the wheels cant push you towards the spikes so easily.

I say warn and rush if you

I say warn and rush if you are good at it.

I always warn people that I am going to hit all 4 buttons in the key room so they don't wander in while I'm pressing the buttons and get overloaded by zombies.

I don't exactly rush, but I don't hit the buttons either. I use a voltedge/glacius charge to break a wheel, but I usually stay there and clean up the zombies before/after that. I do party with someone who likes to run ahead and break the wheels back there while the rest of us clears the bottom zombies, and it's worked out well enough. I like having the gates there since you don't have to worry about flyaway wheels or zombies slamming into you from atop the stairs.
