As far as I can see there have been several suggestions for more pvp games. In the end the reasons they’ve been rejected are always the same.

The Spiral Knights community is too small to support more pvp games. Simply look at how many people playing Blast Network reduced when Lockdown came along or how difficult it became to get into a game of Lockdown when the second server was added.

This is why I thought we could have a rotating pvp system. Every week there could be 2 different pvp games available. Even if there were just 2 extra you could do as an example:

Week 1
Blast Network
Lockdown

Week 2
Other pvp game 1
Other pvp game 2

Week 3
Blast Network
Other pvp game 1

Week 4
Lockdown
Other pvp game 2

This could increase variety enough to give a feel of continually different challenges. It could also give an excuse for at the beginning of every week to send everyone an email from King Krogmo announcing new challenges to be faced.

Note I don’t know what the other pvp game should be.

As another thought is there any chance that the coliseum games would be added as an extra tab to the mission system when that comes along?
