Why Red Rose set (with Flourish and Swift Strike Buckler) looks like Red Mage?
And why is OOO denying us to cosplay Red Mage in SK? >.>
Well, it's not the only game. It's actually a fairly popular style, and part of the appeal of a game is the graphic style. But FF probably inspired the look, you're right...
Kirby also has a lot of this hidden-face-glowing-eyes thing.
I notice that your name is "Blackwaltz." I'm guessing that's not a coincidence.
Dude, why the massive Necro?
I doubt the OP is even on the forums anymore.
Black magic is the magic used in more offensive, maybe banned and unholy magic. Black mages in all FFs use offensive spells compared to the white mages' defensive and supportive magic.
Also, if you look up ye olde history book, you will learn of the witches using black magic, as well as anyother ones.
Also, wow, taking it seriosly. I'M black. And I don't care.
It's like anything that involves the word black is offensive to us.
Most if us are more brown than pure black, and white people more milky than pure white, so this isn't offensice.
@Juances: Divine Set = White Mage, of course.

It's hard to define Sarcasm on the internet.
/epicfail Epic-Truth
It's just the art style of the game. I don't think there's any significance to it.
Oh, fun fact: if you equip a helmet with an open front, rotate your character just so, and then look really closely, you can see a nose-ish bump.
