Almost a year ago, Spiral Knights was born, a bright game, full of potential and possibilities. As the months progressed, it grabbed attention, and hundreds of players joined this fascinating world daily. That was almost a year ago. There were two distinct classes of players, free to play and people who paid to play. As the game continued on, many players have their ups and downs, their adventures, their laughs and their somber moments. But as of now, a great controversy over this game blurring the line between truly free to play and pay to play has come to being, causing much strife and dissension. What happened to the peace we once had in our community? To be honest there is still much much free to play content open to free to play players, as we have been happily playing for almost a year now. This new content, this DLC, is a mere small point and factor to the game overall... To be honest we have many people tirelessly delivering this content, and have families and themselves to feed. Is it too much to spare a few dollars to their hard work? Or are we all so tight stringed that we beg for more and more absolutely free? Three Rings in my opinion has done so much, and still continues to do much, it is expected for them to expect to ask for something in return. Its how the worlds economy and market goes. We should know since business is one of our main parts in our Spiral Knight lives. All I want is people to open their eyes and truly appreciate what we have, and hopefully peace can be restored between these two classes again.

In short, expansion missions are bonus content, that isn't that steeply priced compared to most DLCs. I'd like people to stop this dissension and go back to truly realizing the fun you have and can still have. Some of my best friends are Free to play, why can't we all just get along?
