See, a long while ago on this very forum I made a suggestion asking for OOO to make the ambiance of the clockworks a little creepier, and to add some stuff to it that would really feel like you were truly exploring a strange and alien world...

What has happened since?

* Candlestick Keeps were released, which are not exactly fun to play, and exploration/taking in the atmosphere is hard to do with unkillable monsters after you. It's like Graveyard: Masochist mode.

* Scenario Rooms were released, which turned out to be a Trojan Horse for the Missions system since all the missions we've seen incorporate stuff that was introduced via the Scenario rooms.

Also, for some reason it almost feels as if the missions are going to overshadow what this game used to be. Not yet though, but in due time it looks like it will...

So I'd like to suggest that since the Missions are shaping up to be the story-oriented action-film-style stuff it's only appropriate the Clockwork Runs should become a little more immersive and exploratory and ambient... Here is a list of things they can and probably should do.

* Hire Kikiyama and lol to do some music.

* More Scenario Rooms and possibly even entire Scenario MAPS- ancient temples, graffiti left by Knights who walked the tunnels before you did, places where the laws of physics are wonky, creepy eldritch surreal places, hilarious places, and neon-ridden hallucinatory places.

* New maps and rooms for existing Clockworks strata, in accordance with the above.

* New Clockworks level types, possibly even more subtowns (randomly chosen at gate creation, of course).

* Make Haven feel more like the headquarters it is supposed to be and have more areas and things in it.

And to think thrice before they roll out huge changes that put their F2P status into question and tear their community apart, but that's another topic. But basically ANY kind of f2p stuff they release after this point would be very welcome and might extinguish this fire they started with the paid dlc.
