I recently heard that it is possible to get funds to spiral by purchasing a gift card (visa and mastercard suggested) and you can use that to put funds into your steam wallet if you are a steam user.

I don't have paypal or anything of that nature so when I heard about this I got very excited as I will finely be able to buy the extension pass and probably the elevator pass while I am at it as well as perhaps a handful of ce.

So does anyone know if this is possible or how it is done? I tried to google it but got all sorts of mixed answers and such and long story short though I can stomach having 20 buck go to spiral I cannot stomach sinking 20 buck into a card that turns out to be useless......

So anyone have some information?
