Unlock a door to get a key....
Whats more amusing are the keyrooms that are unlocked only to contain a key and nothing else.
Just opening those doors feels like trolling a group you are with.

Every time I pick up a key in a Decon zone and don't have a dozen monsters surround me I feel somewhat disappointed.
Yeah, I've seen a few. IIRC they were added before the missions.
The ones I've seen have exactly one key, used to open the gate to the elevator. Sometimes they have a few green treasure boxes out in the open, but generally they gave very little crown. :/
