Two weapon suggestions (forgive me if they sound familiar) and a change to the "Deconstructor" bomb line.
Lance:
About a Troika and a half in length.
Damage is centered at the tip, enemies closer then that won't be hit.
Damage is the WEAKEST of all weapons.
The attack pattern is a single hit followed by a half-second cool-down before the next hit with slight knockback (allowing an enemy to be kept at a distance with skillful play).
Every so many hits, a singular powerful hit will occur (5-10 hits? I'm not sure), which is slightly stronger then a brandish's normal first hit.
Charge attack is a wide non-damaging wide sweep with the lance which produces moderate to high knockback depending on how close the enemy is. Charge up would be fairly quick, perhaps only a second long.
Basically, the Lance would be a swift hitting weapon with the smallest damage of any weapon and consistent knockback that can't hit enemies if they are too close. Because of this it would be a bit of a game of keep away, keeping enemies at striking distance and using the non-damaging knockback charge to make sure you don't get ganged up on. The role a Lance would play would depend on it's effects. The damage of a normal Lance would be negligible, but it's consistent attack rate and knockback would make it more viable in certain instances, and would allow for more chances of status infliction.
Boomerang:
Travels in a fairly large arc when thrown, the width/distance of the arc would vary with each throw (making it's path slightly random) though certain Boomerangs would slightly favor certain patterns.
The damage of the boomerang will not start until it has been deployed for at least half a second. Each time the boomerang make a full rotation it will produce a tick of damage. Speed of rotation will vary with boomerang.
Damage will be less then guns (but more then Lances, if they were in the game~)
The user is slowed to about 4/5th's normal running speed while the boomerang is deployed, and unable to use their shield.
The charge attack would be a slightly stronger or faster-spinning throw with a different path unique to the individual boomerang (one boomerang may do a full circle around the user while another might do a straight forward shot similar to a gun)
Change to the Deconstructor Line:
Not a new weapon, rather, I'd like to see the Deconstructor line of bombs changed so they have significantly reduce damage as well as significantly reduce charge time and knockback. More-or-less, I want to play like I'm a gremlin demo~
