When I have time to sleep/sit while chatting to random people I have never seen before about what I would imagine a future update may contain, I usually forget everything by the next day. My nonsense/brain vomit shall now be dumped here for others to make faces at. If any of these concepts are used for future content I appreciate all criticism to refine details of my mental purging. Try not to step in anything chunky.

Rather than post new bits I will be editing this post and dating concepts.

Most recent thought, which may have been posted before but the search option is being silly: statuses on Big Angry and Irontech bombs. Some fire for Angry, some shock for Irontech. Not too complicated, gives them some use, maybe a little more movement speed would be nice.

Another thought I shared with someone in the training hall, a pierce demo armor line; probably jelly related somehow. To match a jelly bomb similar to Dark Retribution and the other Seerus bombs but with Lichen spikes jumping out of the floor in two orbitals, where the spike hit range would mimic Retribution in the sense that the full orbital is not completely damaging the whole ring. Perhaps another jelly related boss or mission, perhaps for accessible for players who do not buy the expansion pack. I remember pondering an alternative Lichen related bomb which has its damage increase the more placed which stack, but that would have the same problem as the original Retribution.

Another Blast line with farther knock back than Nitronome and inflicts stun, heavy movement speed decrease while charging with less damage than Nitronome; may be useful for keeping enemies away from the party hiding in a corner. Alternatively a status bomb which pushes enemies away from the area of effect, damaging enemies the closer they are to the epicenter if they happen to have been in the fuse range during detonation.

In contrast to Graviton and Electron lines, a gun which tags enemies causing them to magnetize toward and stick to other tagged enemies. The tagging would work as Catalyzer mines but with a smaller bullet, forcing the clumped enemies to move as one large object. Obviously using this on Lichens would force them to combine. Magnets.

This may have been contemplated before, but how about a weapon which requires multiple "parts" which each take a weapon slot? There could be two-piece to four-piece or more, encouraging players to work together in parties. For example, an immobile turret using five pieces to prevent people from using it alone where the player using the weapon would only be able to use it while the other can defend them or run off and fight if they still have a weapon with them. This will upset players who do not use weapon slot upgrades.

Gremlin pyro/scorcher/those derps with the flamethrowers and those weird wand weapons. It could work like a gun, obviously slower than normal; the normal attack would fire the bullets while the charge discharges fire.

This one is definitely going to be burned and stomped by someone: dual wielding. Obviously no two-swing swords, but for dual wielding to work there must either be two different attack buttons (or make Z and right click as the default attack commands for different hands) or essentially double the weapon combo. Shielding while dual wielding would not allow shield bumping as there is no shield. Attempting to defend uses the averaged damage stats between the two swords and then halved, though a health stat for swords would have to be added; or there could be no defending while dual wielding to drop the idea, allowing the shield command to instead be used for your other weapon rather than defending.

Most people probably know about the Punch gun, the toddler version of Magnus. What if they made a line for it as they did with Haze? To give babies their bottle who got the one with the UV from missions keep Punch as 1* or change it to something else, but Punch could be its own line. Assuming Punch is the 2* of its own line or for Magnus, make another line which isolates from Magnus at 3* and becomes a literal punch; when it gets 5* make the bullet a fist with a chance to inflict stun. I was kicking this around yesterday but it seemed too silly at the time, a gun that shoots fists. If Punch is the 2* then the 3* could separate into two branches, one for Constructs and another for Undead/Fiends/enemies with high mobility (here come personal biases against certain enemies).
For Construct line it could specialize in messing up turrets/Gun Puppies by forcing them to turn a full one-eighty upon impact (only applies to immobile targets, such as turrets or other players using the previously stated stationary weapons), causing shenanigans for gunslingers and sidearm dabblers. As for names all I can think of at the moment are the following for this line: Behind You, Backhand, Jaw Breaker. The bullet for this would be a fist, punching the turret so hard they turn around; side glazing a target makes them turn the direction the fist punches them toward, a straight hit resets the attack the turret was about to do if you hit them while they are trying to attack.
Onto the other branch for those enemies that fly around your screen, though this will be shot down: a grappling gun where the bullet lightly damages the target but tags them and pulls the user to the target when they try to attack again, though the attachment may be cancelled by shielding. Players using it can grab onto targets, if they make contact, and pull themselves toward them; as for using it against other players, the grapple effect also detaches if the user is damaged. To keep relevancy to Punch the tagging bullet would be an open hand attempting to grab the target and hovers above the target when tagged. The damage for this gun would be lower than Peacemaker/Sentenza, but imagine all the grappling shenanigans. It would make Lockdown more obnoxious than the Seerus update with the hammers but at least the damage would be low enough to lower the diaper soiling by preventing at least two people from passing out.

Criticize as you wish, glue boxes to people, et cetera.
