Right, I just want to start by saying this is my first post, so I may have managed to get sommething wrong.

Anyway, as owner of a guild, it's sort of frustrating to see a lack of certain features for guilds. Don't get me wrong, they're pretty good at the moment, but I think a few features could be added to increase the uses and functions of guilds.

Expandable/customisable guildhalls

This one is a major one. I've seen it in a survey, but seeing as I'm listing suggestions here, I thought I might as well include this. Basically, a while ago, one of my recruits commented that the guildhall looks like a dump. That meant I had to explain to him that I couldn't change it in any way at all. I think guildhalls should have upgrades to improve the visuals, and perhaps the size too. Upgrades don't just have to be visuals though, it could include functionallity. Let's say, you could purchase a supply depot for the guildhall, one of those missions console things, elevators into the clockworks and perhaps even a miniature training hall. This also means that guild halls could have multiple, purchasable rooms, just improving the basic feel of the place.

Guild banks

This leads on from the last idea. Investing in the guild could be a prime purpose for this. Basically, people can invest crowns, energy and even weapons/armour/trinkets etc. This could also be used to help knights improve their gear, or invest in things like lockdown and blast network matches. You could run your own small economy within your own guild. Of course, there'd be options for which ranks can put things in and which ranks can take things out. Guildmasters and officers should also be able to see who invested what, so they can reward people for their charity if they want to.

Announcements

Most guild, clan and group systems have this feature. It's been suggested before, but basically, an editable piece of text that displays on creation, every time someone logs in, and perhaps inside the guildhall too.

Expandable player space

It was quite frustrating when I realised you could have only 100 people in a guild, since I'd reached the cap and still only 2-10 recrutis wre on at a time. I think you should be able to expand a guild, 100 extra members probably costing as much as it does to create a guild, which I believe is 500 energy and a certain amount of crowns. Of course, there would still have to be a reasonable maximum cap, like 1,000, but this means that guilds that strive to be larger can do that. Of course, the price could be adjusted to how valuable three rings thinks it should be. This would create another reason for guild banks.

Guild descriptions and listings

Really, there should be a list of guilds somewhere. It could be ordered by size, PvP rankings or how new they are (which I think is the best choice), but there should be a list somewhere, and a way to search for guilds. Additionally, there should be an option to give your guild a description, displaying in the listings.

Player of the day/week/month/year

This one is quite obvious and self-explanatory.

Guild logo

Guilds should have logos. Something that makes it slightly more unique, be it an option to upload images, or a selection of SK-related images and symbols. It could also make another use for accessories, making a logo by arranging them and adding text.

Guild window

This one links all the suggestions together. Basically, this should be a large window displaying all things related to the guild. It should take up most of the screen (of course, it can be closed) and maybe open each time you log on. A guild window would contain the name of the guild, any announcement, the description, the logo, a list of events and activities of the guild, a list of people in the guild, guild chat, information about the guild, all the guild options avalible through the social tab and anything else that can be crammed in there. Personally, I think I'd find this incredibly useful.

Whew... I spent a lot of time typing that. Any feedback is appreciated.

i have something to add...

i agree there should be a list of guilds.

what i dont agree on is to up the cap on guild members, its more needed to up the cap on friends atm.

and i would like to add the idea of more ranks in the guild.

and my main idea, is that you can only make a guild if you have beaten vana!

ik alot of people at 2-3* who are wasting all their money to make a guild, that fails miserably. -_-

@Gabrielhud

You have some great ideas. However, I suggest you go see this Megathread for Guild Hall related ideas and this Megathread for general Guild related ideas and post the ones that aren't already there. If there is one of your ideas there already though, fill in on any details that aren't.

The fail creation we call event hub already holds something similar to "player of the week",except it checks both the guild and the user friend list.

@JuancesExcept for the fact

@Juances

Except for the fact that guildmasters can't choose who become the most prestigious, etc.
Basically, it's a way of praising people who have been a great help to the guild.

@Hexzyle:

Thanks for that, Hex! Looks like two threads popped up in one day on this.

Yeah, looks like Beaoo just got inspired from this thread and went and made another of his own before I could post :3
