Spiral Knights - after today's reboot, where'd the creep cake nests go?

i've been on for an hour now, and i haven't even hit one. i was playing before the reboot and i always encounter at least 1 per 3 clockworks level.

eh, apparently it was a horrible case of bad luck. i think they decreased the chances, or i just really got unlucky.

Also had a bad time finding

Also had a bad time finding cake nests. Ran 6 clockwork levels this afternoon and didn't see a single nest other than the daily mission.

Last night, I ran 8 clockwork levels and saw 4 nests. Not enough data to really prove a trend, though I'm interested in what others have experienced.

I've been running the first level of T1 and T2 in iron knight when they're clockworks.

Jealousy

I spent 2 hours and 31 minutes

cake hunting. (elevator pass really helps!)

went from 8 cakes to 57. Soloing only.

Some guy posted advice based on personal experience where to farm cakes.
