I made a new character and bypassed the tutorial, and now I'm stuck with the mission to cross the chasm. I was wondering if there is a way to remedy this, or if one of the GMs might be willing to clear it for me.
I tried joining someone in the rescue camp, but it wouldn't let me. Any help is appreciated!

To anyone with this same problem: Either on a separate computer or with the help of a friend, create a new knight and have them invite you after they've taken the lift into the chasm. BAM. Problem solved.

Problem circumvented/averted, lol. I wouldn't say solved though.
Anyhow, point being it definitely needs to reported as a bug if it's happening :)

Well, it was my fault for circumventing the system. But they either need to prevent joining another player while inside the rescue camp, or, preferably, set a check outside the camp to update the "quest."

i am for some reason reminded
i am for some reason reminded of the time i managed to get caught between the side of the elevator and the time-released gate in the scarlet fortress II stage (i was uh still getting the hang of the controls). fortunately i was using a troika, and the charge attack got me out of there.
