Faster Energy

I have a few suggestion about the energy, I think that you din't let them come out in the game but I think you get more players that play the game everyday...
- I now very mush people that hate it that they must wait 24 hours before they can play again. So maybe you can shorten that time... I din't say that that system must be really go away maybe you can make that 100 min and make in the clockworks a mist box or something where player can recharge...
- Maybe can there come crystels that you can buy with real money that you don't have to wait just as now but that you can buy with that crystels very strong weapons, armour...
So my point is that I hate it to wait sooo long to play 1 level. I think that's not really free to play and you get not much player from that theory. I now that you din't do this but do it after the official releasse and wait then that a huge amount players join and then maybe you can make this idea real...

Energy recharges every 21 hours, not every 24. If you play for three hours beginning at 9 PM, you won't have to wait until 12 AM the following night for your mist tank to recharge - you can pick up and play again at 9 PM.
Cien, where did you get that dev quote? I've tried looking for it on the forums, but I couldn't find it. The closest thing I could find was from Cory:
"This is the first phase of the Preview Event. Right now, we're mostly just trying to get players into the game, see some early behavior patterns, and most importantly, make sure things on the technical side aren't horribly broken. In subsequent phases, we're going to be focusing much more closely on the energy system, payment models, and getting all of that stuff where it ought to be."
I certainly don't recall seeing any devs calling the energy system "broken". So if you're going to paraphrase, please choose your words a bit more carefully.

i admit, i put a little of what i understood (probably misunterstood), in that comment, but, yeah, i never said that i was quoting exactly what you said, i just put what i understood from something that i saw here some time ago. Also, i did said in another topic that i get quite excited when i'm writing about something that i like, and most of the times i get overboard (....alright, alright, almost always, if it pleases you all). The broken part was a little of a rant of mine...sorry...but i can swear that it was not intended in any way to put words in the mouth of others, nor to depict the images of anyone at all.
putting all that aside, sorry for my misunderstanding and overboard actions.
but, apart from it, i remember some developer saying (probably was cory quote that rose got for us up there) that they where intending to fix and develop some other more important things before going to balance and work right on the energy system.
and rose, i could swear that it was at a rate of 100 mist every 24 hours, at a rate of more or less 4,3 mist per hour...but i can be wrong.

I know I read that it recharges over 24 hours. It's not all at once, though. It's gradual. I don't know where your 21 comes from, Rose. Even in your example, that would be 24 hours.

I tested and got (if I remember correctly) 96 energy in 21 hours, and the devs commented that 22 hours is the actual target recharge time.
Actually, the devs commented that the target idea was that if you start playing around noon and finish around 2, that you'll have your energy to max again the next day at noon. It doesn't necessarily mean their target refresh time is 22 hours, it might be more specifically to the starting time of a long playing session? Or did they give out any numbers in a different reply that I missed?
Maybe can there come crystels that you can buy with real money ...

This already exists... all Crystal Energy in the game has been bought with real money once.

That's exactly what I'm referring to.
21 hours regenerating 96 energy (observed) means that full regen is just under 22 hours.
Begin using energy at noon.
Energy is recharged the next day at noon.
How is that not 24 hours?
Because you will have 0 mist energy when you finish playing at 2pm.
Getting back on topic I do think energy prices are fine at my level, but are pretty steep for new players. I think halving the cost of the starter-level gates (e.g. Haven to Moorcroft) would be a good way to ease new players into the game and get them hooked :)
Taking into consideration the fact that earlier depth (Haven-MM, MM-Ember) doesn't reward as much crowns as Ember-Core, the energy price for them really should be lowered

Regen. should be sped up by 0.5% IMO

1. you just made your own topic on this subject and
2.... idk...
so i will say here what the developers said a quite time ago:
"We know that the energy system is broken, but please be patient. We intend to fix some other important things before working in this issue, but be sure that we will do something later".
just stating the idea of the producers, also, for everyone new here at the forums, i would like to say thet the energy system is the ystem that most new players complain when they see, and most old players too, but, we have the divine word, and i intend to wait (patience is one of my gifts)...
But this can't stop you from suggesting >_<, just remember that it is very unlickely that you will notice some change in the recent future.
Also, just one thing that i would like to put here: If you read the announcements topic (the first at the forums home page), you will see that, at the first topic, they gave a preview of the next feature that we could have : the coliseum arena (i think this was the name), where we will be able to compete with other players, not necessarelly directly in fight, for a prize in crowns, without spending energy in the process, just for the fun of the healthy competition between players, what i liked ^^
