Does anyone know why CE (Crystal Energy) cost so much now? I remember when CE used to cost only 4,000 crowns but now its 6,000-7,000 crowns sometimes higher! So if anybody knows why please feal free to tell your theory.

Thanks

law of supply and demand my

law of supply and demand my dear.

if people are willing to pay for a certain price, there's no reason why it should go down.

not to mention high payouts for missions, so that raises the bar of what the standard should be as well.

*edit*
and of course, aliens.

Blame my Stupidly Slow Internet that doesn't allow me to get on SK, Load Videos, or get on a Page without Waiting 3 Minutes. We're calling the ISP tomorrow.

ECONOMICS LESSON!

So the CE market is pretty basic economics. CE prices are directly affected by the number of crowns in the system (the system being players' pockets) and by the revenue stream to OOO. As the number of crowns in the system goes up, so do CE prices. This is why we have Punch and Vise, Supply Packs and featured AH items. These are known commonly as "crown sinks". These cause the number of crowns in the system to go down substantially enough to lower CE prices and keep the market generally stable. The revenue stream to OOO is also a player in CE prices because (generally) $$$ purchases are for CE. This increases the amount of CE in the system and therefore lowers the value of CE and the price goes down. This is why there are CE promos such as the Valkyrie Wings and Mirrored Lockboxes. To counter prices from dropping too much, there is the energy depot (though nobody uses it for anything other than keys).

TL;DR? It's basic inflation

Because this is what OOO want

Because this is what OOO want it to cost (they play god; don't bother telling me otherwise). If you guys complain on the forums enough it'll probably go lower.

How about this way. Well, its

How about this way. Well, its easier for SOME PEOPLE i think to comprehend

Theres more T3 veteran players grinding FSC to death than there are any other players.

FSC = 6000CR

So they use all that to buy energy and they profit 50CE pretty much everytime

so thats why its 6k for 100CE
