Every time the coral/violets are put on featured Ah they are instantly bought out (usually by 1 person) and then immediately resold for profit. It is (in my opinion) very close to scamming. And certainly (IMO) lacks class and courtesy. There really are no positive or redeeming sides to this practice. So OOO please make these permabound on purchase.

It's all about speed and price. Everything else is irrelevant.
Binding exists solely to make more money out of the game by preventing sharing of items etc., and someone reselling chaps/tabs for more than they bought it for actually makes more money for the owners of the game, so I kind of doubt that binding will happen.

By the way, the most logical thing a for-profit organization can do in the case above is to find out how much they're being resold for and increase the price in the AH to that price. If someone is able to resell chaps/tabs for a higher price in a reasonable amount of time, they're clearly undervalued at what they're sold for in the AH.

Permabound from AH? that's against how AH is supposed to work. I've bought tons of stuff of AH just for reselling and profit... how is this different? This happens when you have a "user driven" market.
It would be easier if OOO just floods the marked once in a while... 500 chaps and tabards.

It would be against how AH is supposed to work if they binded items sold from player to player but I really don't see a problem with binding Featured Auctions as it doesn't have the same purpose as common AH (players making profit).

bind-on-purchase featured items have appeared once before: the Kozma recipes during the transition period.
I don't see the problem with this suggestion provided there's ample warning given in patch notes.

Another problem is many people are forced to go to sleep/work. The new stuff then appears in the AH while they have no chance of getting it.
Since they are going to keep appearing, and they have a set price, they may as well be available all the time. (I already have violet chap, so this is not biased just because I want one.)
Move to suggestions
