Guild Recruitment? Asking for player's ages? Is this against the personal info agreement?

Hello all,
One of my guild officers brought this up today. Can you ask a player's age as part of Guild Recruitment? Until today, the age minimum for my
guild was fifteen years of age.
It would be nice if I got word from a DEV. Is this against the rules and regs that Three Rings has established? I definitely do not want a ban, so I am raising this question.
Thanks!

Lets read the rules carefully, the only thing I found is this:
"11. collect or store personal data about another member without the express permission of such member."
So there's nothing wrong. They are not forcing you to say it.

Even if you really wanted to join the guild, you could politely ask if you could keep the info to yourself.
As Juances said, it is allowed.

If you're a girl & the guildmaster is a guy teenager then /quit guild while you still can.

if people confused your gender before & thought you were the opposite & once they figured out/you told them when they asked then prepare to see a difference in social activity with that guild person.

It could be just to make sure you are old enough to actually play... there are some players out there that are underaged (and dang, are they annoying!)
seeing as you are not required to join a guild. If you want to join that guild, then it is within that person (who paid CE to start teh guild) to ask for ages. Again, you don't have to join that guild.
