So a player wants 10k crowns for access to his account because he is quitting. Is that against the ToS? Obviously I don't want to be banned
Uh...is selling an account against the ToS?
Yeah, im sure you cant sell your account or anything in SK, but dont know if for both SK currenty and real money.
Not sure if its bannable if you are selling hard work and time you spend to develop your character and earn ingame feats, not the character.
Lets think about this for a minute shall we? Lets PRETEND that trading accounts is allowed.
YOU give HIM money for HIS account, which YOU will end up getting. If YOU really do end up getting HIS account, wouldn't that money just come back to you anyways?
Now lets ask ourselves this question and think carefully about it: Why does he wants in-game currency for a game that he is planning on quitting?
Think before acting. Thinking isnt bad.
Short Answer: NO
Long Answer: ToS Section 9
"7.8 Auctions and Sales
It is against Three Rings policy to allow accounts, characters, items, or money to be sold for real money on auction sites or otherwise. We will ask auction sites to respect this policy. We will terminate accounts that we believe are in violation of this policy. "
Well, actually it says only about "real money" so selling accounts for ingame currency is not forbidden. The situation where a player makes an account, plays on it, then creates new one and want to sell old one (with lot of achievments, learned recipes, etc) for ingame money (not real money) should not be bannable offence.
I was and am well aware that the crowns would've been on the one account. However, that still doesn't mean I can't ask lol. Was just curious
@ Asuka. The only reason i can see this being applied logically, is if someone doesn't wnat to delete their knight, but still start over for some reason. They sell their account for billions of CR in game, but tell them to give the CR to the new knight being created.
Regardless, this is still a pretty 50/50 sided debate on bannable-ness. I'd say send a support ticket and let the GMs decide.
First off, think about this a little more carefully, if he's quitting why would he need crowns? Second, it looks like someone else already ran into this guy: http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/55345
So yeah, i wouldn't do it
