Ik i sound like a whiner but i dont want to.... i am just shocked thay in maybe 2-3 months 10 ce is gonna b worth about 1000 cr but yeah.thats just me please don thate.on me im just concerned
and another question is why does the price need to go up at all? Does OOO get money for it?
Just curious
ce
It's not going to reach 10k. Three Rings will release new "content"
and prices will go back down to 6k-7k and the process continues.
The price will rise -> OOo adds new content -> CE price falls -> new content gets old -> repeat
This is the cycle, I don't know if it will ever reach a limit, but I can guarantee that the price will exceed 10k.
Ce goes up, inevitably, invariably, it.goes.up. OOO releases updates to bring it down. Then. It goes up. It. Goes. Up. It's not even supply and demand. Once again. Video game economy IS NOT REAL WORLD ECONOMY.
Look behind the curtain, you will 100% realize CE will go up. Many espouse that if the payout for FSC is 10k ce would settle (eventually) @ 10k ce. But no. Ce goes up. It's the fuel of the game. Unchecked CE would rise unchecked. People would quit, the game would die. OOO is the lifeblood of the game, because they can at will nerf ce prices to "acceptable" ranges<---this is based on proprietary in game data that they have absolutely mined, and thrown into profit maximization equations.
So...trashcat is right, slayzz is right, gaurdainknight is right, anyone applying real world supply vs demand is wrong. Bananas get too expensive i'll buy an apple. Ce gets too expensive...i can't run clockworks on an apple.

Pawn.
Many players complain about this system, but the easy solution is to go-out and buy Ce, but if you cant do that all you have to do is survive on your 100 me per day. Three Rings, does not profit from the rise in ce prices. (since you can argue that the price goes high people become p2p, but one can argue that the price is low people still become p2p since they want crowns for a featured auction, its all up to you the player to put into this game). Many, do dislike this system, but this system is an award-winning-system Three Rings won many awards in Puzzle Pirates alone which uses almost an identical system as Sk. At the end of the day we will always have players wishing the ce prices were lower (Example, kids complained when it went over 2k crowns for 100ce). Greed is what runs people Free Players wish to play this game since they enjoy it, but many not wish to put in the time to play this game for free, and P2p players wish to get more bang-for-their-buck. (end of the day its not all F2p n P2p, but majority). This game economy is based on supply, demand, and government involvement (Three Rings). When they make new content n stuff like that it usually lowers ce prices (based on content), when we go without any government involvement prices go up.
Idk about you, but I was able to buy about 1.2k CE at 7.6k via the market tab today. CE price isn't rocketting out of control.
In addition, the CE price change isn't really linear. Saying that its going to hit 10k is a bit like doing this. It accelerates quickly at first, but then dramatically slows. It took the CE market a few days to go from 7.2k to 7.8k, but it has taken at least a few weeks for it to get past 8k. IMO, I think the CE price has kinda balanced out right now, and most people are waiting on OOO to release a CE promo to drop the price a bit.
On an unrelated note, I think OOO made the most money during the X-mas sale, and that is when the CE price went for 7.5k to 5.7k within a few weeks.
Long story short: Supply and demand. More CE, less pricey. Less CE, more pricey. More Crowns, more pricey. Less Crowns, less pricey. It all depends on how much CE/Cr is in circulation. No, OOO doesn't get money for it.
