so i have plenty of tokens and they say to take them to token trader but i cant sell them or buy the things you cash them in for how do i use them?

Pay attention to how often

Pay attention to how often you click upon the item you want to trade your tokens for. If you click more than once, the total price goes up accordingly but it doesn't display how many units of that item will end up in your arsenal. As a result, it is very easy to accidentally buy too much of something. Click on the empty button and start over.

Different types

There are different types of tokens, and they aren't interchangeable. The first two categories are Almirian Seals and Jelly Gems, which are probably not what you have (they come from the Jelly King and Vanaduke). Items sold for various Spark tokens are further down, and if you have 20 primal sparks but no grim sparks... well, then you could only buy things in the primal spark category.
