A) This won't happen. For the most part, the CE prices are player controlled, and you're not going to get the players to sell off their CE for less than what they think it's worth. The only way to lower the price would be to introduce a new crown sink into the game, or get people to buy CE with real money.

B) If you'd take two minutes to check the forums, there's already seventeen quadrillion topics complaining about CE prices.

Snailboy: You're too slow?

Most people who spend too much time here on the forums are tired of saying the same things over and over again. Yes, it's a shame that the most profitable thing to do by far is to grind the FSC mission, which is pulling prices up higher than before the mission system, and it's most hurtful to newer players who lack the gear and skill to even run RJP smoothly, but it's something discussed many times before.

I hope it's something that gets fixed at some point. This game wasn't as much of a grindfest when I started playing last year.

The portion of the community that uses the forums is beyond protesting. They have had it beaten out of them long ago.

Surely you can do something about it though. I mean, isn't that what the game is about?

I stopped trading crowns for CE starting from May 18... that's when the price went over 7k IIRC.

Shortly after that I gained the ability to solo FSC.

Two days ago I looked the the CE price: close to 8k. I looked at my crowns: over 600k, and my CE: over 600.

I did the simple math: 600 / 8 = 75.

So with my crowns I could buy 7500 CE. I had 9 4* items all ready to be upgraded, which were only missing 7200 CE.

After a bit of hesitation (should I gain instant gratification or should I not help keep the market up), I placed the orders.

It was fun. My accumulated crowns gashing out like an avalanche. It's so exciting to get those new shiny armaments, it's almost orgasmic.

I don't care about getting rich... I just want the items. If I had enough to clear my to-do list, why not? More crowns will come as I continue to play...

With the client now supporting Chinese, I think an Asian server could be coming soon... OOO would fulfill my requirement of better ping, and I'd buy the DLC and start paying cash semi-regularly... things are certainly looking up for me. *taps my credit card* :3

Make the ce prices stay so people can buy ce freely without waiting multiple days hoping for the ce prices to go down. Pleaaase 8,000cr for 100ce make it stay like that :3

Y'know, there's a certain counter to these endlessly-rising CE prices that never seems to come up in all these repeat threads. It's simple: don't buy CE. Or to be more precise, don't buy CE yourself, and try to get as many other players as possible to not buy CE. As has been noted many times, the CE market is a supply-and-demand system, but the consumer has power in that system by choosing whether to spend their money or not. If a large majority of the F2P crowd simply said, "I'm not trading for CE until the price drops below 7000 crowns" (or 7500, or whatever), then demand would plummet over the short-term. CE sellers wanting a quick crown fix would be forced to progressively lower their asking price until it fell into an acceptable range. And yes, there would probably be an immediate rebound once everyone started buying at the new lower price, but the process could simply be repeated.

...well, that's the theory, anyway. Good luck getting anyone to actually do it. :P
