Most broken class in LD

So I really love LD. Its fun and there is a great amount of variety in skills, strategies, and weapons. However, I've noticed that strikers are by far the most common and the most powerful class. they're fast, have great melee dmg and ASI bonuses, and can essentially kill anyone within a few strikes with the right loadout. Although they have a health deficit, that can easily be undone with a couple heart pendants (I see strikers with more health than guardians on a regular basis). Their speed allows them to get to cap points faster and thus cap faster as well as attack quickly without getting hurt at all (back to the ASI increase).
On the other hand, recons can be quite a powerful class as well. Although the most difficult class to use, the cloak allows them to sneak past enemies undetected and potentialy keep an entire team frustrated trying to find one player while the rest of the recon's team caps. The reduced charge time allows for bombers to charge in a matter of a second or two, which can be devastating in combat. However, ASI is severely reduced and even though it can be brought up with the right gear, lets face it: everyone wears wolver. This makes any benefit from armor nill and forces the recon to fast but weaker weapons like a flourish or snarble barb.
Guardians are the most "normal" class. Their shield and extended health can leave any player frustrated at pounding away for over a minute just to kill one or two capping guardians. They're the perfect support class: recons and strikers both greatly benefit from the shield in both protection as well as health regeneration. However, they cannot run or hide so any player who wants to be a guardian must be equipped for combat. Of course, this usually isn't a problem with an low DMG increase. However, a dancing strike or two can easily kill a guardian with the right loadout (back to the ASI and DMG bonuses and heart pendants).
Honestly, I think guardians and recons need to be given a boost of some sort (like negate the ASI decrease for recons and ASI gun decrease for guardians). to succesfully combat the strikers. Of course, that's just my opinion. Discuss

It's a class system right, everyone should fit one specific role.
Guardians are suppossed to use their shields in the middle of a fight to cover and heal their allies instead of swinging their swords so its fine if they dont get best damage. (timbalero and some others can prove me wrong, but thats another story)
Strikers are the 'soldiers', the ones that should attack and capture. THEY ARE supposed to get best damage

I think it is mainly because strikers are by far the most solo-friendly class in Lockdown. Strikers are used so heavily and do so well because people don't generally like to work and coordinate as a team, at least in T2 PuGs.
They have the ability to finish of single enemies quickly and retreat in the event of a threatening situation. Recons do better if they are paired with another for easier death marking, and a sole recon can be found quite easily if they try and phase out when in combat. Guardians do well as being the tank or healer in terms of the holy trinity. Alone, guardians don't have any good bonuses that aren't outclassed by the speed and DPS of strikers.
Yeah, although I think it's broken for another reason. It's too sword friendly.
Swords work better than guns and bombs in PVP. Swords have more total bonuses. Swords have ASI and DMG in striker, the most powerful class.
Apparently OOO wants people to use swords. So lame.

Recon ctr bonus applies to all weapons, guns and swords included.

Skolver SHOCK MAX, two penta pendants, stirker, asi vh gf and ff, and polaris/Antigua line gun. You get MAX damage and MAX ASI on the most powerful kind of weapons, have a lot of health so the penalty doesn't matter, have that striker boost, and can't get shocked or frozen by mist bombs. Get rid of the bombers with polaris, add interruption power with Argent/Sentenza.

Howabout the 7.5% DMG x6....
I guaranty that figure is slanted *WAY* in favor of one sort or another...

Strikers: They're popular because they're easy to kill people with. You move at high speed, and you have offense bonuses. Right? At the same time, they have very low health, and without their booster, they're sitting ducks; Strikers are very easy to kill. Thus, power comes with a price
Recons:
Not necessarily the most difficult to use, since it's very easy to hit in run. Can be very risky though, since you're screwed if your shield is broken. The ASI reduction (IMO) only makes a big difference when you're duking it out with a striker who has an ASI flourish or whatever. And flourish/ snarble barb aren't weak... I mean, almost everyone in LD uses them :P
Guardians:
I agree and think personally think that Guardian is the hardest class to use well. The Gun ASI reduction shouldn't be a huge issue though, since you're usually swinging a sword at the striker who's poking your shield.
Do recons/ guardians need a boost?
Not really; you just need more skill.

I've beaten out every striker on both teams as a recon in damage. More than once. While capping. (just saying)

Damage doesn't win games, caps and defends do. Also, I've seen numerous Recons and Guardians with excellent damage scores, just like I've seen gunners able to outclass sword-users with ease. It's all about skill. Skill is the most over-powered thing in Lockdown.

There are so many Strikers that one or two skilled Strikers could wipe out your entire team even if it was made up out of Recons and Guardians, especially in the old days when I was still in Tier 2.

I agree: damage isn't everything. In fact, as a capture-loving guardian, my damage score is inversely proportional to my team's success. In a big win, I'll score ~2k damage while damage monkeys fight to the death and ignore capture points. In a balanced and competitive match, I get 3-4.5k. If I score any more damage than that, it's because my teammates have been overrrun and the area around our capture point is swarming with opponents for me to hit. I don't think I've ever won a match while scoring >7k damage.
(To put this into perspective, I use a 4* sword, plus armor that gives either low or medium damage bonus)
There is no "overpowered" or "broken" class in Lockdown. The reason you see strikers with the most damage 80% of the time is because skill + speed will outdamage the two slower classes. (I.E. A striker can get to the front lines faster; after death, they can return faster; the more ground one covers, the more likely one is to fight a foe, hence damage). However, good recons and guardians can outdamage entire teams or entire games if skilled enough (see the multiple screenshot threads floating around). If any class is overpowered, I'd have to say it's guardian (no I'm joking. I just don't like killing guardians as a recon >.>; especially you, Mr. St-Leone.) It all comes down to the skill level.
