I was walking down some steps in Haven, just the right size for Knights to traverse, and began wondering how Strangers manage these stairs. Given their size, their feet would be too big for them. Looking at Haven from this perspective, I noticed that most of the buildings were too big for the Strangers as well. Did we build all this on their land? The other theory I thought of was that Strangers move on a slug-like undercarriage, and could compress their bodies to go through doorways. Maybe they're an independent, friendly kind of slime monster. There's a lot we don't know about them.
Strangers biology
Snipes move them.
Seriously, I believe Haven is actually an abandoned gremlin city. Who else would make gun puppy statues.
Soarel does have a point about the feet thing. If your look at the creatures in the clockworks (including knights) they all have tiny stubby feet. Maybe strangers don't like to stay in buildings and like to live outside with nature.
Would make sense to why they have masks, hats and lots of clothing.
Strangers are just two knights standing on top of eachother.
If you check their animations in Spiral Spy you can find a movement animation for them. Its a sort of fast shuffle, but its really not what you would expect. Freaked me out the first time I saw it, its completely different from all their other animations.
Better hide that up before Eury censors the spoiler....!

I always figured each Stranger was three Snipes in a hat.
What I'd like to know is what's under those big robes they have on. They're probably a Mecha Knight in disguise.
Ask them to strip their clothings and hat? We could verify.. or maybe just at least remove their vision googles and hat.
I'm sensing strangers were those lumber clocks who can talk. 0.0
This is a GAME were talking about here so of course it would seem kinda exaggerated.
