Are there UV hacks?

Some things on the auction house make me suspicious...
Two VH feind blast bombs, exact same price, time, and bid.
Two high CTR blast bombs, exact same price, time, and bid.
Unless someone waited for competition before selling their blast bomb, it's logical to assume that most of these were posted by the same person. What are the odds of someone getting two of those at once though?

Ya I know what you mean. I once bought a flourish with high fiend damage for 7983 cr. That should of been for 2060cr. Now I made that sword into a grand flourish (witch I could sell for 400000cr) and i'm kicking fiends bums with it. So its might be just luck. Most likely just luck.

Thats my face.. Don't steel it.

I'm trying to figure out what that face means. I mean, the top is obviously mammal baby feeders, but the bottom.. e.e

What's the rates to get UV?
Because of strange luck I have around 30% to get UV, but it seems that UVs actually are rare.

"What's the rates to get UV?"
To learn about unique variants, read the wiki page "Unique variant".

Speak to punch or the crafting machine in java - that seems to work.

Dude A gets an UV but doesnt know how much would it sell for. He decides to keep it for a while.
Dude B gets the same UV and posts it on AH.
A sees B's auction and copies it.

I thought it was a 10% chance per craft to get a UV. Then the Wiki has the approximate chances for specific UVs.
Also, most of the time when I sell UV'd gear, I get the approximate price on the AH, and then sell it at that price. If the UV is already on AH for a price I think reasonable, I either post my own at the same price, or at 1 crown less (sometimes slightly more if I'm feeling gutsy).

People don't often know that if you stand in front of the anvil your chances of getting better UVs is increased by 80%

Who doesn't stand in front of the anvil? I mean really.
WE SHOULD ALL HAVE GOOD UVS
"People don't often know that if you stand in front of the anvil your chances of getting better UVs is increased by 80%"
Chances are INCREASED BY 80%, so really, since UV chances are supposed to be at 10%, that means you now have an 18% chance?
:P ?

I get what you mean Juances, but to me that seems more like he's waiting for competition, making it harder to sell his bomb instead.

"What are the odds of someone getting two of those at once though?"
Um, 0-100%? "Odds" are inappropriate here. If I really wanted to, I could decide to accumulate any number of CTR High Blast Bombs (well, maybe not any number) and then decide to AH them all at the same time.
For that matter, I could AH three CTR High Sun Shards right now.
I'd probably be unwise to do so, but that's another matter.

UV hacks? You mean the Sun is an axe murderer now?

Don't worry, some people have noobitus. Heh..

@Juances: If that was the case, why wouldn't dude B post it for slightly less?
@OP: It does seem awfully suspicious, almost as if someone found out a way of duplicating items. I've heard of people doing trades right before a reboot where the crowns were given but also not lost (ie duplicated).

This game has never and will never be "hacked". If these are duplicates, they're probably the result of an exploited bug. Nobody who knows how to hack systems is going to waste their time on an internet game.

@Evilduck: I suggest you glimpse through google...
There have been attempts.

During the beta, there was a hack that let you get what ever amount of crowns and ce you wanted. (Saw a youtube video, but at that point the hack had been fixed.) There were hacks then, but not only are hacks strictly against the ToS, I think they made the game much more hack proof.

Evilduck is so knowledgable about hacks.
/sarcasm
I've never talked to a hacker that wasn't a gamer. I'm not saying they don't exist, I'm just saying that there are more than plenty of people who try to hack video games.
And Autofire.
Hacks are agains the ToS.
Oh nooooooooooooooooooooo didn't see that coming.

I'm still pretty skeptical. People use the word hacking when they mean something else. Like I say, probably an exploit of some sort.

Might be an exploit. Probabaly isn't anything. Just asking though. Trust me I'm skeptical.

Mods can put rare items in AH if they wanted to, like shadow keys. Would be a interesting way to make a crown sink, but you never really know for sure.
No.
And they probably just have Darkfang luck.
