In my time of SK (Short as it is :3) I've used the Wolver armour. In hope of at the end, getting the Snarbolax gear as it is at the end of the Wolver line. I've heard that you can get it in the Shadow Lairs, but is it possible to get it somewhere else?

Auction House if ye're lucky and rich.
Other than that, no.
Snarby set can only be CRAFTED at the end of a shadow lair run.
BUT, you can always BUY them from others for a very very high price.
