It is definately difficult, maybe a bit cheap in difficulty, however not at all "too" difficult. I do not know the name of any of the new monsters. for this reason, I call them "poilers" and I apologize if this is wrong.
1. The little oozes which I will call "Poilers" since I do not know their name (poison + oiler) should have their spin attack changed so that it is like Toxigel spin + spike attacks. Not like giant lichen colony spin + spike attacks that has a melee attack.
>A. Suggested change: These little dudes aren't using leviathan blade charge attacks with invisible and far range, I would honestly completely get rid of the spin melee attack and make them just shoot out random spikes only since it can hit you when you aren't even near them currently. This would help get rid of cheap difficulty.
2. The uh, flame turret things which are not monsters and not killable, are dealing like half of your health in elemental damage even with some elemental defense.
>A. Suggested change: Make them deal just a biiiiit smaller damage ;)
3. Fire and poison are somewhat "constantly" hurting some people since not everyone takes the correct defenses. Poiler charge will drop a ton of oil, sometimes oil ontop of you and unavoidable.
>B. Suggested change number 2: Perhaps just a TINY BIT less oil (not a complete nerf).
4. We are capable of making ourselves invincible by holding up a shield and letting the oil on the ground hit us because it constantly tries to poison us or burn us if it is on fire, so we can literally hold up our shields and be invincible (with a shield up of course)....

5. Shivermist Buster. I haven't tried this yet, but if someone spams shiver, I imagine this being WAY too easy since freeze puts out fired oilers. Make them immune to freeze.

Tips:
1. SUPERNOVA. Get one, use it in hallways / to kill off monsters that are cluttered and far away from you. This is your ultimate defensive weapon for this content.
2. What to focus fire:
Gremlin Scorcher > Poiler Polyps > Menders > Poilers on fire > Poilers not on fire.
Scorchers light up the room, making kiting hard or even impossible and light poilers on fire the fastest. They are a huge threat, spam SUPERNOVA in their face to interrupt them as much as possible. The polyps will both oil up the room as well as use ranged attacks as well as spawn poilers. That is like three things you have to watch out for which is ridiculous. Healers are bad, kill them next, however it is more important to burst down Scorchers and Polyps as they make the room so cluttered that it is that much more important to kill them. Poilers on fire are not that much of a threat except for kiting cause the oil will swamp the room. Regular poilers are weak and do absolutely nothing on their charges to people with capped out poison defense. they are ridiculously weak and not a threat unless they spin.
3. Spam Umbra, Spam Acheron charges, spam Dark Retribution are a few suggestions of mine. You should kite. You cannot charge in and derp about in one spot and kill everything, some attacks are even unavoidable when kiting.
4. You NEED poison defense, and fire defense is recommended. This isn't FSC where you can derp about and not care about defense and go full offense, this content requires you to focus more on defenses with a few unavoidable attacks if you failed at getting poison + fire defense. Capped out poison makes you immune to poison caused by oil.
>> You MUST complete numbers 3 and 4 and try them out at least before crying about it being too difficult.
5. Errrr, Shivermist? haven't tried it yet.
Doing the above will at least allow you to clear the first level without dying, I didn't take more than 8 pips of damage before healing again. Second level gets a bit more tough though, lol.
