Well, in spiral knights we have infinately many bombs as we place them. Couldn't we harness this power to create a new rocket instead of repairing the skylark? XD just take all the thrown out sheilds, fuse them together using alchemy and bomb your way back to cradle xD

Most T3 players could build a staircase to the sky out of crowns after saving up for about a month or two. Literally, the crowns are quite large.
