just realize that becos all the bomber armours offer elemental protection - it is difficult to just swap damage protection. this happen with the shadowsun set, when the protection went from piercing to shadow. i agree its pretty frustrating to have that happen to u. made me wonder - from the perspective of game developers - is it difficult to offer an option whereby knight with certain armours can make a trade-in for another armour ?

example, back then with the shadowsun set - if one wanted a shadowsun for piercing defense, and it was going to be switch to shadow, these knights can swap in their shadowsun for another set of piercing armour (eg virulisk armor). if possible, this also allows people to swap out weapons when they are buffed / nerfed (eg some ppl might have prefer the antiguas with split damage - so may want to trade out when the weapons went pure damage). so, maybe, having a temporary vendor accept such trade-in. alternatively, to save trouble, just a trade-in at the auction house.
