The amount of time needed to load updates have become crazy long. And I'm not talking about losing connection to the download website.
I have noticed that OOO is working on it (like not completely redownloading if the connection fails).
Still,
Before missions:average of 30 min
After missions: 40 min
After danger missions: 70 min
What's next? A 2 hour download time? The reason why I like playing Spiral knights is because it feels like a Web browser game.
What about you guys? How long did it take for you guys to download/update the game?

Either you have made a mistake or have some ultra crazy fast connection, because it has never been under 30 min for me.

Are you talking about from scratch, or just grabbing an update when it happens? Because if it's the second, then yes, it only takes me ~5min to update.

It takes me anywhere between
It takes me anywhere between 3-6 hours to download a new patch now, as opposed to 10 minutes in the past. No hardware changes have been made to my laptop.
For reasons unknown, my brother with similar laptop specs was able to completely download the patch in 10 minutes and we're on the same home network. I've tested connecting the blue connection cable directly into the router - no difference in download time.

Don't know why everyone takes so long to update.
I downloaded it in 10 minutes and I update it in 5 minutes.

But its exactly why its taking so long. The Update Servers is cutting the link with update client. The connection is closed by update server.

On the beginning the download is full speed for about 6-10 seconds, then there is a flat line for to 10-30 minutes and again Update server decides that im allowed to download data with full speed for 6-10 seconds and flat line again.
Also, when you stop update and start it again you loose all progress. SK folder had 780MB, download got stuck, i tried to start again and on my eyes i saw how SK folder have shrinked by over 100MB

1 minute at most to download an update then 5-10 minutes on "Validating..."
For me it's actually gotten much better, before the patcher updated some months ago it would get stuck for a good 30 minutes on validating.
Takes me maybe 5 minutes tops, but that's also because I tend to grab my update 6 hours after everyone else due to being at work while the update goes live, so to speak.
