For some reason today, when I was doing the road up to the Jelly King, I picked up one of those idol totem thingies and came over and put it down on the switch. It turned tiny. At first I thought it had disappeared, but when I looked closer, it had just shrunk. My teammate had seen it too. Here's a screenshot:
