Curse/Shock Constructs and Beasts. Releasing a new enemy type for the Beast family... Hellhounds.

I drool at that name :3 Also... I would like to see some harder hazards and finally a danger mission that is really worth the "danger mission" title (LoA and HoI are a joke)
Dang it, Byas took my guess. I've been hoping for a danger mission like that since LoA.
I wish. A survival run that would make Mercurial equipment desirable? Where Stun and Freeze to stop big infinite mobs that you wouldn't like to fight were frequent? Where fighting isn't desirable and you may have to make run&solve puzzles? Please.
Because Constructs, unless there were tons and tons of Battlepods, meh most likely. Of course, Tortodrone, but "nostalgia" only gets that far. Also Shock is a random based status, it wouldn't be a fair challenge at all.
So, I don't see anything more than Swarm related content. Which is fine to me :)
I bet 100cr it'll be constructs. I found an interesting new(?) creature that looks themed enough to be in a future mission.

Beasts and Fiends hate Piercing (enter Heart of Ice).
Undead and Construct Lumbers absolutely disgust Elemental (welcome Legion of Almire).
Gremlins and Slimes despise Shadow (pointing at Compund 42).
We have been trying to summon darknesses, the undead writhe at their graves, and Gremlins prepare for something big.
In this case, I would say- beware the Swarm. Normal damage seems possible alongside Stun or Curse.

On my note, I would adore seeing the mechanization of monsters into Construct, and how they have mimicked everything except Fiend (Lumbers, maybe). Tortodrones would be included in here.
Greavers and Silkwings. Nothing else.
Chromalisks only, all status effects.
Dodge the dangerous pools of status effects on the floor piled up next to you while avoiding long tongues.
New monsters are chromas with EXTREMELY LONG tongues.
Boss is a giant chroma that is permanently invisible.
Make it happen OOO.

They will combine together. LOLOLOL AWESOME!
Obviously I like Gwen's idea.
Except we also need a boss monster. I want a giant bionic chromalisk with a breath attack that deals Elemental and a chance to inflict Curse, and a tail attack that can inflict Piercing and Shock status. BUT WAIT - why is it dealing two damage types? Because it's a danger mission bugger off logic doesn't apply here. How do you tie it in? Simple, it's a science experiment gone right and is at the core of an attack force that's been built up to invade Haven.
Yeah I'm just spitballing here though, I can't remember what all I had ready for this a week ago.
Danger mission possible themes:
Cannot be slimes, undead, gremlin or fiend because that's already been done.
Cannot be beasts because they are NOT DANGEROUS.
By process of elimination, has to be Constructs.
Cannot be fire, poison, or freeze because they are all taken.
Cannot be sleep because a) the status is now non-existent b) constructs never had a sleep themed monster.
Therefore, has to be Stun, Curse or Shock.

Stun is out also, Legion of Almire is all monsters that Stun.
Also... Beasts can be dangerous. It is generally agreed upon that Oilers are not a real threat due to them having their dash attack greatly nerfed, but we saw in Compound 42 that they can effectively have it turned back on for certain instances. There is no reason to believe that for a Beast based danger mission that they wouldn't get back their ability to track us. They did not get it back in Heart of Ice, but Heart of Ice is really a Fiend mission with Beasts added for flavor.
Either way, I hope it is a Curse/Shock combo. Now that would be fun.

If Stun is out, so is curse. What? Never got cursed by a Dreadnughts spear? And Plus Stun + Shock would be way deadly.
Stun is pretty much the normal damage of status. You find stun in all three missions from the Twackers, Bombers, Giant Toxoils, and Trojans as well. There's nothing stopping them from adding it to the next mission as well.
If it involves Swarm Core (spiral spyers know exactly what I'm talking about), then that will make everyone happy...
...except it's going to be impossible for me D:

I think it would be shock construct/beast. We have neither of those. I hope it's gunna have curse too. Unless.....sleep? Anyway, they have already done fiends, gremlins, jellies, and undead. They did have so
Just because they "can", should they make it? I am all for a Construct level with Tortodrones etc, ok, it could work. But Shock? No way. I can just imagine tons of Quicksilvers running crazy and instadying or dying because not being able to protect against anything. C42 CAN work, but a Shock themed level? Nope. I just can't see it.
Just because we've already had three of the other types of bad guys, so it would either be beasts or jellies, and I am thinking since we got the new hunter stuff, it's gonna be beasts. (Just an observation, not saying it WILL be this)
