Rating updates for Spiral knights

I wanted to get some feedback from the sk community on a couple things.
One- How would you rate the speed of updates for spiral knights?
Two- How would you rate the quality of updates for spiral knights?
Three- How informed do you think 000 keeps us for updates for Spiral knights?
Scoring system
1-5
1- being the lowest.
5- being the highest.
Please set up your replies as so.
Example
1. 5
2. 3
3. 2
Then explain your reasons for your scores after.
P.s I will try to make an average score depending on amount of posts. Thank you

Well good idea on changing the title. Well my agenda is to just see what people think. Leave out bugfixes, stealth patches when rating

1. 1 (Exluding bug fixes there havent really been a lot of updates)
2. 3 (Some patches are nice and give us conent~~)
2. 2 (Only giving it a 2 because Nick USED TO actually post whats in development. Since there has been like half a year since we were informed I'll assume its taking them about a year to fix bugs like the DA charge)

1. 1 - I know they have a small team but still... I think it's the least updated MMO that I know.
2. 3 - Some good updates and some really bad. I don't really know if I can give an overall so let's give it a 3.
3. 2 - They talk about doing something from time to time, but still it's almost the same as nothing.
EDIT: 1 was based on meaningful updates (ones with content instead of minor bugfixes/promos/etc).

- 4/5
- 2/5
- 2/5
- They may not be great, but we get updates more often than some games; most of them are minor or unnecessary cosmetic/energy promotions.
- See above.
- "Hey guys, we promise to do all these things eventually. Have fun."

1. 3/5
2. 3/5
3. 1/5 They are horible at keeping us informed. All they say is "We're working on adding stuff to guilds". Ok. What are you adding? How is the progress coming? Y'know... if they told us EXACTLY what they were working on... we wouldn't have as many bad updates... remember that stupid emote thing where if you typed "lol" it made your character do /laugh? Yeah, we hated that. If they told us they were thinking of adding that, we could tell them to stop and they wouldn't have wasted their time and could have worked on something better. I get that they want to surprise us.... but it's kind of annoying when everything is a surprise.

I feel like I am almost required to comment on this topic...

Then why you comment lol. Anyways mostly did this as something to discuss, since there is absolute garbage threads lately. Anyways thank you for the feedback guys.

I was probably a little unjustified with what I said. I'm just really tired of people railing on OOO for every conceivable thing. You were only asking the opinion of others. I'm not going to edit that post because I'm not the type to try and hide a mistake.

they update an average amount compared to other games i play
however, while these games release actual new content every patch, its usually minor changes with SK
i cant really comment here because i dont try to keep myself informed

lo choob i got you to read again. See what i did there :)

Interesting to see that question number three has the lowest score. No one has yet scored it higher than a 2

Speed is OK, an update every 2~4 weeks, but usually bug fixes and Promos, nothing interesting and exciting.
Quality is also ok, bug fixing, promos but we need more new content.
Inform? Do they ever inform us? "Oh Iron Slug is recieving a boost" quoted from monthes ago, also not to mention guildhall updates and haven expansion.

Hopefully this feedback will be useful to 000 in some way. I think the scores for number three can easily go up if 000 just have someone release a What's in development thread every two weeks. Same as what Nick used to do but bi weekly would be better than monthly.

1. 3; Every two weeks isn't bad, IMO not an issue update-wise.
2. 2; Doesn't tend to address the main issues this game is having or things promised months ago.
3. 1; When was the last time we heard something about what's in the works....
This would be much easier to cope with if they simply communicated to us. Lack of communication is generally considered a bad thing no matter where you go.

The speed of the updates is pretty slow. Recently we got a pretty useless update.

1:4 they're all ways updating wether its from bug patches to test realms
2:3 some of em pwn, some suck so I'm giving it a 3
3:1 ya they tell us some thing comin out but half the time, they don't tell u wat. 4 example, If u dont buy energy cause u can buy it on ur own, u don't have access to the test realm and it's almost impossible to find out wat it is. They just say "test realm open! Come test" and all that they never tell u wat they're testing
Is any1 else pissed by that?

@Xtremejim
Actually, they do tell you what is being tested, that's how players give their feedback for it in the first place.

I have only been able to play several MMOs due to being on a mac :(. But anyways, comparing SK to the other MMOs, cranking out updates every week is pretty fast. I have seen MMOs that take like 2 months to update or don't even update at all. And, I've been in MMOs that crank out updates every Fridays, which I think is pretty fast. There is always an update to look forward to each week.
As for the quality, lately its been the non important stuff. Personally, I'd rather be able to snipe herd instead of chasing snipes because the feeling of having a snipe zoo is more pleasurable than wasting energy running around in circles, literally. And the update that changes other bits and pieces. IMO, OOO should be incorporating the bugs and stuff during the content release. They'll be able to fix stuff faster and waste less time updating the game uselessly every week. However, there are IMPORTANT bugs that are a necessity for the game, but lately I don't find any of the bugs "important".
Oh, If I were to rank below 1, I'd give the third question a -5. Theres no more "What's in Development". I miss those things by Nick. It's like he left us in the cold. And If I want to find out more about what's upcoming, I have to look at an outside source, such as Nick's radio interview. Why put information in the radio interview when you can just tell the spiral knights community via forum post? In the other MMOs I've played, they keep us updated every single week. And the result is their player base becomes less likely to decrease.

I'm curious. How do you think "oh hey we're going to be buffing the iron slug go shut up and play" is worthy of a 5? We've given our reasons why it deserves a 1, why do you guys think it's 5? :S

How would you rate the speed of updates for spiral knights?
> 4 It comes out every so often. But for people who get paid, not fast enough.
How would you rate the quality of updates for spiral knights?
> 3 Most are just troll updates. Some are spectacular and some just gets us angry
How informed do you think 000 keeps us for updates for Spiral knights?
> 1 Suspense is not cool. Saying something that will come out in 6 months is not cool. And delaying more important things for cosmetics is not the way to go.

hate surprise partys
dont liike when a tv host says, "right after the break!"
and..
I used to scare myself with DOOM when a Imp would appear right on the screen :)

A few more posts with scores and I will add all the numbers together and give an average. Very interesting to read what everyone thinks. It seems majority of people are rating three so low because of the fact they make promises they have yet to keep.

I wonder if any scores will get edited when Guild hall updates finally get released. It looks promising.

Take the scores before the update then take the poll again after.
Then take another poll about a month after that.
You ought to change the title since this entirely a poll about SK updates and nothing else. It's also fixed, because most updates are small bugfixes and/or stealth patches. Honestly, you sound like you have an agenda with this poll and want just want to verify your opinions.
