What to do about reckless sloppy players?

Just about every time I try to party with others they play so recklessly then ask for a rez when they are laying on the ground. Sadly, I often see good players in my groups but often get dragged down by one bad egg. About 1 out of 5 groups will actually succeed at an instance without someone needing a rez consistently.

My solution is often to just leave a group once we reach an elevator or to just play solo, but this is a multiplayer game in the end and I do not wish to play solo so much. I was just wondering if others share similar issues and what their thoughts about this was.

Well I'd at least see what

Well I'd at least see what they're doing and offer advice to fix the problem. But if they don't listen or try to do better then....

tell them to rev themselves or gtfo.

Of course if they are genuinely lagging, then there not much you can do. Even the best players slip up from time to time, and lag has no mercy.

If it's Tier 1, it's pretty

If it's Tier 1, it's pretty normal, Tier 2, quite normal too; in Tier 3 split ASAP.

Talk to them, not everyone

Talk to them, not everyone knows how to play right since the beginning but if they are at least trying to do something, give them a chance. But if they don't really care at all about the party and are acting selfish without even helping at all, kick them.

@Rommil That's why I

@Rommil

That's why I typically don't care if I have unskilled players in my party, because I know who to watch for for their heat.

@Night-Rove Then they should

@Night-Rove

Then they should be responsible and sign out. If they have things they need to take care of away from the game, then they shouldn't stay in a party and slow everybody else down. Simple.

not necessarily.

Maybe they are dealing with problems in life and SK is an escape or a distraction. Perhaps they are still unfocused b/d of real life, but this eases their pain.

You never know, i'm sure there are at least a few of them out there. And far be it from us to be so self-centered as to want them to suffer so that they don't die a bit in a party run.
