I'm not sure if anyone posted this, but haven't you guys noticed how these Missions have something weird in common? (Perhaps some people have seen this already, but again, I'm not sure.)
Heart of Ice: It deals Piercing and Shadow damage, and is completely weak to Piercing. It shares the trait of "trinity" element Ice.
Compound 42: It deals Elemental and Piercing, and is completely weak to Shadow. It shares the trait of "trinity" element Fire.
Ghost in the Machine: It deals Shadow and Elemental, and is completely weak to Elemental. It shares the trait of "trinity" element Shock.
We have every weakness especially kept in their areas as well as the three elements shared in Stronger Protosets of the bucket Helm, twin tailed Helm, and bracer Helm.
ODD BALL: Legion of Alimire: With no boss, barely any constructs, and Undead theme copied by GitM, and not really any trinity elements (possibly Fire?), this one sticks out. Theories? Maybe it was just a prototype Danger Mission that wasn't thought of to fit those categories above OR Undead actually fill two spots: the fallen and the haunting. LoA would show the sorrow and melancholy of a fallen empire, Almire, while GitM shows an evil presence lurking in the dark, artificial lands.
Point: I just saw a pretty awesome mirroring and am predicting some future story. However, because of these little things, I would probably guess that, if there is any other Danger Mission coming in (perhaps not [?]), it would probably be something to do with Normal attack and defense. The Swarm? Anyways, just putting these ideas out there. Anyone want to have a say in this?
I think the next danger mission should contain nothing but Normal monster variants and Normal damage throughout the whole thing, with various status effects being there (poison, fire, freeze). It would be the first mission in the game to finally make use of the Ancient Plate Set.
