Revive the Arcade

The Arcade is barely used nowadays. We need to revive it and make people open their eyes to the thing that brought all the old-timers happiness.
What my plan is to do a bunch of Tier 2 runs with my friends if they are willing to on Tuesday, September 25th.
What's the point of this? To show the fact that it wasn't all about missions. It was about the arcade. And we need to spread the word about this and make the arcade better known in the game.

I miss the days of April 2011 and such when NOBODY was in the Town Square unless you had just logged on, a good bit of people were in the Bazaar, and everyone else was lined ALL along the Arcade walls or running around (or doing runs of course.). /sigh.. Dat nostalgia

I think it would be nice if OOO did somthing to the arcade that would make someone actually want to play the arcade instead of missions. Like maybe...mini bosses every few levels orrr....Better rewards...Somthing more exciting!

That won't do much. I just counted a total of 220 people doing clockwork runs. If you want to "revive" it you'll need to bring that figure up to 1000.

People dont do runs because it's not worth it.
Without an actual change from developers it wont go far.

I do think putting the Arcade
I do think putting the Arcade in the mission window was a bad idea; it removed all need for people to actually visit the arcade or...be anywhere. Now you can pretty much just ready room everything and do it all from lobbies; there's little need to actually be present in Haven anymore, which has stripped a large social factor out of the between-runs gameplay.

Yes it is just not worthy to run the arcades anymore due to rising ce costs. 100 ME is not sufficient to buy 100 CE as you need to earn 850cr per depth

The arcade will only be revived with a serious change in the game mechanics by the developers. I would love it if the arcade got used more, but I just don't see it happening

I think the way to revive the arcade is to make some missions not replayable after they have been cleared like boss missions. (SotB, TsS, BtD, TKoA) The first missions in the game at the camp were not replayable after you cleared them. (This made Schemer Razwog a One Time Boss) If this happened, players would have to go into the arcade again to reach boss levels.
The shortcut to the arcade from the missions menu should be removed, this will make players have to go to the arcade by foot thus likely cause players to hang out in the arcade more.
I know this may not work but i am still agree with the op.

But regardless you're late to the idea, and it won't work in the end.
Either way still 100% support. If you can get people to play the arcade more, then that's great.

It would be nice to see the arcade used more. When missions arrived, what little importance there was to influencing stratums seemed to vanish altogether. I go there once or twice to turn in crystals or exchange Krogmo coins, but that's it these days.
