Hello three rings and team,

I was wanting to know if you guys are still working on that gremlin castle that you talk about last year. I hope its not put in the back burner, because all these accessorys. Nck you actually posted it and said we would be seeing it with no date planned of course, and that it was in development. With new weapons and such. I just want to know the progress :D. Im so wanting new weapons its not even funny. Hope to hear about it from you guys soon :)

Also why im at it. I got some awesome weapon Ideas :D

A new line of weapons actually that is not in the game.

Weapons that make u go to sleep; swords, guns, and bombs. It would rock in LD (hint hint).

Well, must have announced that while I was away. Sayin' that, they've been puttin' out a lot in the meantime; GIM is still fairly recent, so it's not as if they're focussing their entire attention to accessories.

Still doesn't make much of a difference, Seerus was part of the Crimson Order, who serves under King Tinkinzar. Sounds similar to Crimson Hammer. Also you spelled "Nick" wrong.

I think the annoucment was after the Crismson Hammer. And Seerus wasnt it i think, im not sure. I hope one the gms clicks on this so they can clarfiy it.

Nope. The announcement was even before mission system itself. You can check the announcement subforum or facebook.

Even the pictures resemble OCH itself. The only difference is that nick seems to be wearing a unique gremlin mask (probably beta version of seerus mask)

I think you lost this one, Timeclock. Also, sleep weapons have been suggested numerous times, without any discernible response from the GMs. I can only assume this means they are either working on it, or think it's a bad idea

Problem with sleep status

...is what counters it. If you are sleeping you can't use blue pills. Your teammate can't damage you or feed you pills neither.

If the status is inflicted by a mob, that mob is likely going to hit you very shortly and cancel that sleep status. So what's the point?

One thing that could *work* (but probably not very well) is counter sleep with a Love Puppy gun. That would effectively introduce a "medic" class and would make tanker useful (yes, I'm looking at you Ancient Plate set).

But do we even want these medic and tanker classes at all? If you look at modern MMO's like Guild Wars 2, they manage w/o all these classical roles.

Freeze is already powerfull, even if enemies can fight back.

A sleep bomb in LD could easily trap everyone forever. Shivermist is already too strong if it wasnt for skolver clones.

Yes healing vials could work too

But do we want it that's the problem. So if a map is designed with sleep element in it, the developers need to put in some form of anti-sleeping features. It's kind of like maps that have gate switches: they put in a jar so people who don't have guns can pick it up and throw it at remote switches.

i don't per-say think there should be a sleep status, and nor do i propose we use the general discussions forum for suggestion purpose.

However, if they did add sleep, i suggest that teammates can wake you up by using a bomb in your vicinity (i.e. noise) much as you can hack out a frozen teammate. :D

About the idea that can wake

About the idea that can wake counter sleep status.
I think it should awake and damage the sleeping person and others around it except for user.
It mayl also inflict stun.

That's not a beta version of Seerus mask, that's a military-themed Gremlin helm in the same vein as the Trojan and Gun Puppy helms. The Seerus Mask is based off that model, though.

Not everyone uses bombs though :x I guess a gun or sword charge would have to be able to wake up sleeping knights. :s

@Arilys: that means Biohazard would become really useful! It has a short charge time and deals shadow damage. The main source of sleep in the beta was a form of jellies (from what I heard) that means... My catalyzer store will take off! :D
