In this year's Dark Harvest festival, more candy drops at the higher tiers. My question is: how much does the payout increase by tier? If it's only a couple of tokens, then it may not be worth the extra effort. Has anyone gathered any data this year?

My own observations:
T1: 8 Candy
T2: 10 Candy (same as last year for all levels)
T3: 12 Candy
Best option is to really just find a good gate (newest one, has good odds first two depths on all tiers) and grind away.

Hmmmm.
Do the hits from a Blitz needle make the King drop candy? If so, Shiver+Blitz could be powerful against him.

They do, and it is. You get

What about the Gourdlings?
Apparently, the first [x] times you hit the PK, he drops a token, and when he dies, he drops tokens so that the tokens dropped upon hits and death add up to [8,10, or 12].
I think gourdlings drop tokens, but does this count towards the [8,10, or 12] tokens, or is it seperate?
And are the gourdling drops only for the first [x] number of gourdlings killed, or is it random? Cause if it's random, a nice bomb could blow up a bunch of them and possibly get you a ton of stuff

Only tested for T3 so far.
Gourdlings do not drop anything but explosions and disappointment.
They do not count for anything.
Hitting the Punkin King for enough damage will make him drop 3 tokens, until he disappears into a puff of confetti and drops the rest of the 12.
I've been farming t3, and it seems to give a healthy amount of 12-14 tokens. Not sure about the lower tiers.
