Although I would like to believe getting the same amounts of each candy type is true, it has to more than just luck/karma/coincidence to get sweet candies most of the time.
Current Candy rate:
Sour -25%
Sweet - 50%
Hard- 25%
That's the approximate count I get EVERY time I meet the PK. Does the rate change day to day? Is there a flaw in the algorithm? Can I NOT GET SWEET CANDIES THIS TIME?!
I had 9 hard after spending my tokens, didn't get any hard from Punkin, then came back with 17 hard after the next one.
It's random luck. One person does not make an adequate sample size, OP.
They definitely are unbalanced in the short term; I have dozens less Sour than the others, but the actual rates (in the long term) are probably roughly balanced enough, but just not to the specific point where you'll see it.
I get a ton of sweet, after the first day I had 26 sweet, 14 sour, and 9 hard
So it is random
And I wish that every day i could get over 50 tokens...
I got over 80 boxes in total plus all three masks and the rate was pretty fairly spread, hard candies are roughly one box (25 tokens) ahead of the other two type of candies for me so the rates really are random.

nope, i have to grind and grind, collecting the most, SWEET and HARD candies. :_
im not complaining cuz im getting alot of boxes :]
problem is.... i have 600crowns left to get 5 more Sours.
EDIT: 5500crowns now. sold a pretty good 3* recipe dirt cheap. I NEED MONI!
