Skold, calling him out for the sake of warning others is like telling people 'the bridge is out' while they're falling off of it. It's pointless. It accomplishes absolutely nothing. Personally, I don't think he's being that awful; the memes and such are goofy and irritating, but it seems like he's made a good, genuine effort to do better.
On the actual topic of the thread, I've spent ~20$ tops, though I consider myself 'F2P'; only things I've spent anything on are OCH, the dragon wings promo, and an elevator pass to see how it affects my mentality while playing. I've given plenty of things away that were related to said purchases, so I don't consider myself P2P since I don't have any edge over people who haven't spent anything.

The better deal was Battlefield3 for $34.98 and Premium for $59 more. If you want a suggestion: don't put your money in this game because it is a real waist.

Oh boy, I've played so long...let me think....oh wait, 0 cents.
Any thoughts of buying CE/promos went away when they put the F2P-alienating OCH mission up. Shortly after, I quit. I only came back for the Halloween Event, which was really nice for F2P players like myself.
I suspect that is how I'll spend the majority of my Spiral-Knights lifetime, popping in and out when something neat happens...like the Guild Hall updates I cavaliered.
