Hey guys, I got a question regrading the guild treasury. I always wonder that why does the guild treasury have an upkeep? I mean what's the point of it? I looked on the wiki that upkeep relates to the furnishings in the guild hall. But it seems kinda pointless. Where does the the crowns goes is it just taken after all the hard work your guild tried getting? Or is it an annoying bill for crowns that the developers implemented for no reason?

Uh the guild treasury doesn't

Uh the guild treasury doesn't have an upkeep. If you have no expansions in your guild, your upkeep cost per week is 0 crowns, yet you can still place crowns in the treasury. Not sure what you're referencing or talking about...

You see

The up-keep been transfer to up-keep collector which is Stranger, why stranger?we knights crash to this world discover what inside the core(which spiral order trying to dodge this make me wonder why higher order didn't want to discover what inside or already know but too risky to revealed) ANYWAY each guild have own space means using stranger homeland the bigger your guild the higher tax you need to pay to stranger.Well we use their land kinda bad just use it like that.

OR its just scheme to make your guild member helping one another by having burden to pay up-keep.

the point

If you want to have a fancy guild hall, then you must pay a weekly upkeep. The amount of upkeep depends on how fancy your guildhall is. Yes, the money vanishes into the game. Yes, it is an annoying bill for crowns that the developers implemented "for no reason".

But there really is a reason. The main economic impact of this guild hall update is that it is now expensive to run a "decent" guild. This dis-incentivizes players from starting their own guilds. Probably the developers felt that there were too many lame guilds in the game, and that there should be fewer but stronger guilds. I tend to agree.

Also, as Psychodestroyer said, the update is a crown sink. It is a major reason why CE prices have lowered recently. People are selling CE to get crowns to improve and maintain their guild halls.

It's like asking why Landlords charge you rent.

Landlords have to eat, not to mention they are usually greedy too. <_<
