there have been many rumors about crystal energy prices decreasing on the up coming month. does anyone know why these rumors are out?, whether their true or false and if true what might happen in Christmas?

CE will always drop down in price whenever OOO has a CE promotion. Free accessories/costumes with any purchase of CE = Lots of people buying CE, and suddenly a portion of those buyers will be injecting that CE into the market. With lots of people selling CE, people will undoubtedly be undercutting each other, and the prices will drop.
Having said that, it's almost guaranteed that there will be an upcoming one soon-ish, either due to Christmas, New Year, or Solstice.

Last time during X-mas, the explorer pack was like $3 and the CE price dropped to below 6k for a few days. I wouldn't be surprised if something like that happens again.

@Traevelliath, Putting explorer packs back on sale would probably be a bad idea. People bought so many of those that they ended up with years of elevator passes; which is probably something that contributed to the huge spike back up to 9k.

I thought that spike was more due to missions throwing people in front of an FSC that gave 14k crowns + tokens per run...
