I've been seeing a lot of artists adding tails to gremlins in their fanarts and I personally really like the idea.

But, here I'm going to explain why that can't happen in-game. Just because I'm bored.
So, we have our gremlin model, as it is in SK. The gremlin model has about 300 polygons (Little triangles and shapes pieced together), with a tail of some sort it would have 30-60 polygons more. That's not really a problem. The problem would be the textures requireing an update and most importantly the rigs and animations not working at all.
Those would need complete redoing, which is to say- A complete waste of time for a developer, considering this is purely for the looks.
Yes, this might be a pointless thread, but I'm very, very bored. Besides, hey. The more you know.

How do knights get tails. Do we all get a few polys stitched to our behinds? Tails are an addition, similar to swords and shields. Giving a gremlin a tail is no harder than giving him an axe.
Consider winterfest hats, which basically every mob in the game had. Now turn that hat gremlin colored and stick it on his behind. There's your damn tail.
I don't really care if Gremlins get tails or not, I just like destroying your faulty logic.

Hmmm ...
I think that the tails would work either like the streaming end of the Ghostmane Stalker's scarves, which are separate parts tacked onto the finished model, or like wolver/cat tails on the knights, which are separate models completely.
My opinion is that they've got little bitty tails that fit in their pants, though. Kinda' like a small rabbit tail.

Gremlins have pants....? Welp, it's reassuring I do not unconsciously pay additional care to what is located in the nether regions of random creations that attempt to kill me. But I do have to say, those 2* pics, area absolutely adorable. :3

Interesting....
We can squander our time speaking of models and such, but there is a much simpler explanation that fits.
Gremlins do have tails. They simply tuck them into their uniforms when in battle for precaution. Therefore, we knights never see them.
Did I just blow your minds or what?

It would be if they were big fluffies like Arkalpha's or kangaroo-ish like Amaya's. XD
Maybe they come in all sizes but we only see the guys with little tails because the big ones can be a hazard.

There are 13 gremlins in this thread. Only two of them are in their underwear, which makes roughly 15%. If you don't count the gremlins in the original post, that's still only 2 out of 9, which is about 22%.

Well, considering that most of the pics are focusing on tails, then I would theoretically presume to pay more conscious attention to that area, as it is the subject of the photo, and being traumatically scared off before I can visually increase the capacity of comprehending those pictures anymore, I would instinctively make a remark as to how queer it is to see the opposing ends of anthropomorphic fictional canine like creatures with enhanced knowledge.... >.>
