Arcade Clockworks Arena Variations

So how come Arenas are some of, if not the only levels in the clockworks that have no other variations of design other than different monster types?

We have seen variations of Arenas in Missions (e.g Gauntlet) with different layouts and trap types that have been very effective in producing a variation of play style required. Even Danger Rooms have plenty of different types to keep them interesting, though as far as I can tell Arenas haven't really changed for as long as I've been playing.

Considering Arenas are pretty much the most popular type of level in the Arcade due to their difficulty and high cr payout, and people are willing to wait ages for levels to change so that they can hit 3 or 4 Arenas in one Arcade run.

Not so much wanting to suggest new ideas and massive changes, I can see that OOO are very capable of producing interesting and challenging arenas and level designs. It would just be nice to see some of the newer challenges applied to get a nice bit of variation.
