Swordsmen have the Fencing jacket, Gunslingers have the Cyclops Helm, and what do bombers have?

C'mon OOO, show some bomber love ♥

I don't see why not, really. Except that ooh, I dunno OOO HATES BOMBERS.

I can see some arguments against this, like that Bombers, whose most important stat, CTR, can reach max without anything but two armour pieces and max heating. Also, they don't use their shields as much as swordwomen, although swordmen get their beloved shield at 5* so it's usable pretty much anywhere anyway, which can't be said for a shield of that low star rating.

I'd use it.

But an armor instead would be usable on LD.

Would hit that.

What? I meant use it as a shield to deflect attacks.

It would be very fitting for a shield to give bomb damage when the torso gives sword damage and the helmet gives gun damage. Grab a shield with bomb damage and you have a 1* damage set for everything. New players can figure out what weapon type(s) they like and continue from there. Not that Three Rings knows how a legit 'class' system works.

A suggestion for improving tier 1 equipment yay!

I still use my cyclops helm with my Volcanic Pepperbox on Royal Jelly, and I wear a Fractured Seerus to Firestorm Citadel. Once I get some trinkets to compliment my Sudaruska I'll be taking that Fencing Jacket off the metaphorical shelf. But I look forward for something to give great bombing bonuses for new players. (Everyone knows Cyclops Helm + Fencing Jacket is the REAL glass cannon playstyle)

I'll admit though, CTR is probably more useful for new players, who just want to spam a weapon to find that bombs are irritatingly slow.

The reason I decided to go with a damage bonus is because the bombs that are first given to you by missions are UVed to have useable CTR and I thought it would be nice to keep the t1 "set" uniform.
