Hi everyone, I've read many fanfics and decided to make my own. Recently, I've decided to make a gremlin app for 2 stories named Fripper. I will combine them for this fiction. Fripper is.. well, you'll find out soon enough. This is written in First person, just a heads up...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
/em Chapter 1
Ha, I don't usually do this. Most people know me well;in fact, nobody does. But since this is a special occasion, I'll tell you about myself.
My name is Fripper. But you already know that. I also killed my own parents. Yeah. You heard me right. Do you want to know why? As I told you before, nobody knows much about me, and my parents were the only people who knew everything about me. I couldn't let that happen, so I killed them. I can;'t even believe I'm even telling you this. Whatever, to hell with this explaining. It's time to report to The King.
I walked into the throne room, with the velvety carpet and valuable minerals. I showed the Crimson Guards my Shadowmaster badge, and walked past them without even waiting for their response. The king got up from his throne, but I didn't even bend my back.
"Well, I have a new mission for you, Fripper." He began. "The Alpha Squad has been worrying me for a long time for now. I want you to find them, and if they are still alive, kill them."
"With all due respect, your majesty, I believe the Alpha Squad is dead. They have been dead for decades," I said.
"Well then, HOW DID THE RECON MODULES GET INTO OUR MOST SECURE LABORATORY??" He shouted. He was in one of his moods again.
I shrugged, unfazed by his anger. "That is Seerus's fault. He was the one who had the brilliant idea to make our invincible war machines facing each other with dangerous weaponry."
Tinkinzar was very obviously just holding his temper. "Just find the Alpha Squad, kill them, and bring me their heads as proof."
FANFICTION: Fripper's Mission. Ended!
just a heads up.
At KoV, this will die when im finished or when everyone starts hating it. Also, I'm accepting 2 applications that are either gremlins or knights. I'd prefer one of each. Application form below

Chapter 2
The Spiral HQ
"Sir, we have received another report of a party that has been lost around Depth 22 and 24. We have suspected that the Crimson Order is stationed there, but our parties are killed," The Recon Knight reported.
Feron tipped his head. That is strange, he thought. He knew very well about the squad he had sent there, and everyone had been wearing 5 star armor, each with at least one UV on it. It was unusual for them to be lost-or killed. He finally quietly said, "Call in the Spiral HQ. We need to have a talk."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the members of the HQ gathered around the conference table, Feron began. "We have been receiving reports about our top squads have been killed. This is totally not acceptable, so I called you all in to decide our best plan of attack."
Intel Agent Kora said, "Do you know what is killing these knights?"
"Something with high intelligence, and definitely someone dangerous." Feron replied.
"Can we have a picture of the bodies?"
The intel images were produced, and Kora examined them closely. "It seems that they were mauled by a hammer. Very gruesomely. The only thing out there in the Clockworks that uses a hammer is a gremlin."
Immediately, Feron knew exactly who it was. It made complete sense. The hammer, the mauling, the squads getting destroyed. And he knew that his day was suddenly going to change completely. There was only one gremlin capable of destroying an entire squad of Vanguard knights.
Fripper.

Chapter 3
Fripper's Perspective
I tugged my boot up securely, checked that my weapons were sharp and shiny for the last time, and set off to the Core. Of course, I had plenty of doubt that the Alpha Squad is still alive and kicking, but I don't want to be executed either, so I follow orders. The Core was the likeliest place the Alpha Squad would be last, so that's where I'm going. Then I remembered one little problem. The Spiral HQ had placed a entire squad down there to examine the Core. I cursed myself for my terrible memory. Oh well. The knights aren't well armed, and I probably could take them on.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as I got to the level of the Core, I immediately had to dodge like 4 needles flying at incredible speeds at my head. I hid behind a corner, pulled out my Sentenza, and waited for the knight to get closer. As soon as he did, I realized that he looked...looked like he was drunk. He stumbled along past me, and then slipped and fell on the ground, knocked out cold. Wow, what an idiot, I thought. I put him in a bag, and threw him over the edge. Continuing along to the Core, I used the Secret Key that was given to me for this mission. The Core was opened, and I went in. So guys, while I'm in here, I might as well give you a few facts.
Contrary to popular belief, depositing minerals does NOT open the core. It also doesn't produce much heat, nor is it that bright. It's made of the pure stuff that those greedy knights want for their ship. Pfft. I can engineer something much better than their ship with one hand tied behind my back with my eyes closed, and it's not even my job. I know I'm on the wanted list of the Spiral HQ, so I had to be incredibly careful bout my actions. I heard footsteps behind me, with a heavy clanking of metal plates, and even before the hilt of a Leviathan hit my head, I realized I had made a stupid, idiotic mistake that was just not possible for people and beasts like me, but still happens.
I FORGOT TO CLOSE THE CORE BEHIND ME.
Sorry, I have been reading your story but not posting... I can just say that this is a great fanfic!
For the first 5 to 6 chapters, please post SOMETHING so i know you are reading. Later on you won't have to though...
Chapter 4
Fripper's perspective
A constant pounding was in my head, and it was annoyingly painful. I opened my eyes a slit, and to my surprise, I was in what looked like an interrogation room. How the heck did I end up here? I finally opened my eyes, and saw an all-too-familiar shape sitting across the table. Feron.
"So, our prisoner wakes up at last," he said mockingly. "Well, welcome to the real world again."
"You won't get any information from me," I retorted. "I'm not a little softie who blurts out everything just because of a little bit of pain."
"Maybe not, but we Spiralians are a lot smarter than what you think. We know what your weaknesses are."
"Then what is it then?" I demanded bravely, despite the fear that was trickling down my spine.
"This."
Feron pulled out a Gran Faust. A beautiful sword, yet so deadly. "We have done lab tests, and we know what sort of weakness every creature and creation in the Clockworks has. As a matter of fact, we have used lab specimens, particularly gremlins." He paused. "The Spiral HQ has done much research on you, Fripper. And yet we still haven't unearthed the deepest secrets. You have caused a great deal of pain to our community, and today is the day that you will pay the price."
Following those words, he took his Gran Faust, and began to tease it into my arm. I felt a huge pain there as soon as the blade punctured flesh. I knew from the biology classes that I took, what was happening. The shadow was working its way into my blood circulation, causing a great deal of pain as we gremlins' blood doesn't have a good resistance against shadow damage. Feron slowly continued to stab it through, and a large amount of blood, black from the shadow, spilled out. I could just tell that my life was on the line, and that if this continued any further, I would be unconscious for a week, possibly more, with a slight chance of death. Finally, I gave in to the pain. I quietly said,"Alright, I'll tell you everything."
Feron stopped, smiled, and said, "A good choice." He pulled the blade out, and then said, "Let's get started."
I slowly regained my posture, and said, "When I was born, I had this...feeling...that I wanted to be secretive. I always thought that if someone knew too much about me, I would be vulnerable. And that included my parents. In the end, I had to get rid of them before they spread too much information. I was training to be a ghostmane since the age of 5, and my trainer was the previous Shadowmaster, who is now dead." I paused. "I killed my parents with a shuriken given to me by the trainer, and I slit open their throats when they were asleep. I learned to live on my own up to the age of 15, when then I was taken into the Crimson Order. At the age of 20, I was the Shadowmaster."
Feron considered this, then he got up, and called in 3 guardians to come pick me up. They came 10 minutes later, and dragged me down the hall. Once I got into the streets, Feron stopped by. "Hold on Fripper, I would like to thank you for cooperating. Here is your reward. He threw the Gran Faust and my leg, and it went straight through. Unable to take the intense pain, I collapsed to the ground, and just before I blacked out (again), I heard Feron laughing and saying, "Take him to the jail cell."
NO, NO ONE CARES!
*TURNS INTO FERON AND BLASTS EVERYONE WITH BLITZ NEEDLE!*
Well, read new chapter below:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 5
Fripper's Perspective
I woke up yet again, and found out that I was in a jail cell. Well, this isn't the brightest place I've been in. I tried to stand up, but failed miserably and slid back down to the ground again.
"You shouldn't move around so much, or you might open your wounds again."
I jumped at the sudden noise. Turning around, I found a rather pretty female gremlin sitting in the corner. She was definitely not a Crimson Order member, because I know all of them. I narrowed my eyes and asked, "Who are you?"
She took a long look at me, and said, "Tamara." I didn't know if that was her real name, or if it was just a code name. We gremlins have both.
"I know how to get out of here," she whispered in a quiet voice. Well, that's a relief, I thought. "We're going to have to take out the guard out our door. His name is Heavurgus, and although he sounds pretty fierce, he is actually quite dumb."
"That's all well, but how do we get out of this jail cell in the first place?" I questioned.
"Easy."
She pulled out a jar of bubbly liquids. "I constructed a type of acid while I was staying here, and although it smells like the Underworld, it works like a charm." This didn't surprise me. Gremlins being held in a prison like we are, are known to bust out and kill everyone by constructing ingenious items such as acids and makeshift lockbusters. I pulled out my trusty knife, hidden from the searchers. Standard protocol said that all gremlins must have a object capable of combat at all times. Anyways, I adjusted my stance, and muttered, "Let's GTFO of here."
The next few hours were a chaotic disaster. Tamara pour out about half of the liquid in the jar onto the bars, and it melted easily. What we didn't know was that the ground was pressure plated to trigger alarms when anything heavy was on it. As soon as we stepped out, alarms blasted out everywhere. The knight guarding us, presumably Heavurgus, spun around and knocked himself out accidentally with the hilt of his own Ascended Calibur. I didn't have time to laugh though, because dozens of guards were rushing down the hall towards us. They were very obviously trained, as we were completely beaten after a few vicious duels. I had suffered a few minor cuts, as well as a large gash on my shoulder, which was still streaming blood. On the other hand, however, Tamara wasn't so lucky.
She was beaten by the burliest of the group, and almost her entire body was bruised. Of course, Feron just HAD to walk in at that moment, and the sight of us was probably the most humiliating thing that has ever happened to me. It suddenly appealed to me that we had a mole in our own Crimson Order. Nobody was supposed to know that I was finding the Alpha Squad, and nobody was to know that I would look at the Core first. This was supposed to be an easy mission, I was supposed to find out if the Alpha Squad was alive, and kill them if they were. Then go home and earn my profit. Now I'm being held by elite knights of the Spiral HQ, bruised, bloodied, and humiliated.
Suddenly, as if the Gods of the Core finally took pity on me, the knights holding me collapsed to the ground, instantly killed by a strange force coming behind them. Then a Stagger Storm exploded, and then a few bursts of a Argent Peacemaker, then silence. Once the smoke cleared, I realized that Herex had followed me to Haven. Brushing myself off, and trying to look as dignified as I possibly could, I asked him, "Why in Vog's name are you here?"
Herex grinned, and replied, "Our great king has asked me to back you up on this mission. I assume you are happy?"
"No."
"So you're not happy that I just saved your life from a painful execution made by the most arrogant an obnoxious member of the Spiral HQ who shouldn't even be alive?"
"No, I just wish you came a bit earlier than right now."
Herex smiled again, and was aboutg to send a slap against my back which would probably smash me across the room, when he stopped and stared at someone. "Well, it seems that we've gotten ourselves a outcast prisoner,"he said.
I followed his gaze, and stiffened when I saw that he was staring at Tamara. "She's an outcast?"
Herex looked puzzled. "She has an outcast badge, and I remember the day that she was released from the gremlin army."
I thought for a moment. "No, she helped me escape. We aren't taking her to Tinkinzar, or else she'll be killed." I looked back and found that he had a mischievous grin on his face. "You like her? This is totally not like you, Fripper."
I sighed, and turned to lead the other two gremlins down back into the Clockworks.

Chapter 6
Fripper's Perspective
2 weeks later
I sighed. It was a long day outside, with so many stares, giggles, and murmurs. I agreed to watch Tamara to make sure she didn't get punished for being an outcast in the Colony. I didn't realize that Herex would spread rumors about me and Tamara making out. Since everyone within 5 miles knew who I was, I was probably facing murmurs everywhere I go. I noticed 2 gremlins staring through my window. 2 seconds later, one laid knocked out and the other was slowly walking away with a shuriken in his arm. Finally, peace and quiet, I thought. Just then, my doorbell rang. "Come on in," I said.
Herex and a gremlin incinerator came in. "The king asked me to supply you with a sidekick, so here you are. His name is Tarn, a very trusted and dangerous member of Compound 42."
"Hello," I greeted him.
"Hey." He replied back.
Herex looked back, turned to leave, then turned back again. "He's my most useful soldier. Try not to get him killed. I'd appreciate it."
He left. I said to Tarn, "Make yourself comfortable. I have an extra room upstairs. We'll be briefing our mission and leaving tomorrow
----------------------------------------------------------------The next day--------------------------------------------------------------------
"Alright, Tarn. Our mission, as told by our great king, is to find the Alpha Squad. If they're still alive, we kill them. Understood? We'll try the Core first, and if that doesn't work, we'll have to try the Shadow Lairs." I finished up my briefing, then asked, "Any questions?"
"Are you sure we should go in the Shadow Lairs with the only two of us?" He asked. Worried, as usual.
I managed a wry smile. "Perhaps you haven't noticed that we are 2 very dangerous gremlins known out there. I think we'll be fine." I paused, saw that he had no more questions, then said, "Let's go."
----------------------------------------------------------------Reaching the Core--------------------------------------------------------------
We walked off the elevator together. Luckily, the Core seemed to be deserted this time. A beginning prick of suspicion started up, but I pushed it back down. A deserted guard post was a good thing. We walked around the corner to the research lab, then froze. The entire Spiral HQ was inside discussing something. I motioned to Tarn to fall back, then I pulled out a long range listening device. Pointing it at the group, I started to get a bit of an idea of what they're talking about.
"So, Fripper is still a threat?" That was Ozlo.
"Quite a large threat. He managed to escape from the cell he was placed in, and killed many of our elite prison guards. Intelligence says that he had three companions." That was Intel agent Kora.
"Well, I've noticed something pretty important." I stiffened as I heard Feron's voice. "He had a lot of help. Herex himself was involved, so we must assume that this was a very important mission for him."
I heard nothing more as I felt the cold blade of a Leviathan pressing against my neck. I turned, and found an elite guard standing there. "Don't you dare move, gremlin scum." Suddenly, his eyes rolled up into his head and he fell forward. Tarn was standing behind him, blowing the smoke off his ember bolt launcher.
Unfortunately, the knights weren't exactly deaf, and turned to look at the source of the sound. Cursing under my breath, I cloaked myself and kept as still as possible. Tarn, on the other hand, had no way of cloaking whatsoever, so he did a smart thing and threw a heavy stone in the opposite direction. The ploy worked. The knights turned again, this time heading towards the stone. Feron, however, headed towards us. Dammit, we really should have gotten rid of him before, I thought. Once he came over, I knocked him out, and then me and Tarn headed for the elevator.
I should of told you... hes working on a gauntlet of some sort to improve his firepower, and yes he is that smart to have a heavys tone in his pocket at all times... and he has toxoil explosives on him always
and i swear if you give him enoguh strength to lift a leviathan blade and the owner tot hrow them off a level, i will laugh and thank you
p.s. he will house any outcasts in his house if asked by a member of the order, or if he gets paid
Putting a ton of toxioil on yourself is kinda dangerous. A stray bullet could kill you. Ill put Tamara in your house, and I MIGHT consider how strong he his. Just don't want to make him too OP. The Gauntlet will come later; I was in fact thinking of that.
his lair is basically an abandoned clockwork level he cleared out himself with a small fortress, the gauntlet is basically Elsword's Raven's Weapon Taker Nasod arm (look it up), and if you want an excuse to extend the story if it dies, which i hope it wont... here!:
IF a crimson order member dies, he WILL get revenge! -cue some sort of awesome boss music-
Just need my dad to wake up to unlock our desktop before I write another chapter. No way am I going to do it on the IPad!
Need to finish something at school. Anyways,
Chapter 7
Fripper's Perspective
"Alright, this is take 3 on the Core. Hopefully it will be more successful this time. If not, we'll just kill them." I said. Tarn nodded along as I spoke. Earlier today, I moved Tamara to his house, which was really an entire floor on the Clockworks with a small fortress. I, on the other hand, preferred a more quiet life, so in case the Colony was invaded, the knights wouldn't glance twice at another ordinary house. Anyways, we went down down the elevator yet again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as I stepped, a huge group of knights, including Feron and Ozlo. He smiled cruelly. "Well, it seems that you have reached the end of your line. How about you just give yourself up to your death?"
"Only after you," I replied.
"Well, I hope you don't regret a slow, painful death by my shadow sword." He pulled out the Gran Faust. I instantly started to sprout out fear, but quickly forced it down. He's only trying to intimidate you, I thought. I snarled and threw dozens of shurikens at the group, and cloaked out. I heard Tarn yell a battle cry, and later the unmistakeable splash of Toxioil. I came up behind the group and death marked the entire squad. I stabbed a knight in the back. The process was repeated several times, while an ominous green fire was erupting everywhere. A shadow sword slashed from my shoulder to my hip, and I gasped in pain and fell to floor.
Feron stood over me. "You certainly put up a good fight, Fripper. However, never forget knights surpass all monsters." He lifted his shadow sword, and was in the process of stabbing it down in my gut, until he was blinded by toxioil. He screamed as the poison penetrated through his eyes. He certainly wouldn't be seeing anything for a good few days, if I knew how strong this poison in Compound 42 was. Even so, I couldn't gloat for long, because I was badly hurt and could barely move without a whole lot of pain. The shadow damage was still working it's way in, all the way until it reached my heart, where I would meet the painful end. I felt a jolt in my ribcage, and estimated I only had minutes to live. Unable to take the pain, I blacked out (yet again)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I woke up again, and to my surprise, Tamara was there, with a worried look on her face. I opened my mouth to speak, but my mouth was too dry to do so. I reconized the critical injuries room, and looking at my pulse, I saw that it was dangerously slow. Apparently, they were able to extract the shadow before it reached my heart. Tamara suddenly realized I woke up, and said, "How are you feeling?" A stupid question, obviously not all that well. Finally, I managed to make out a few words. "How long have I been out?"
"Around a week."
A week! I've certainly been in critical condition for a long time. Just then, the doctor came in and shooed Tamara. I realized uncomfortably that she was staring at me for a while. She broke eye contact and left the room
Tamara likes Fripper, and Fripper does too. Hmm..... Nice chapter btw.
DATE, before someone dies off!
I have a ton of schoolwork these days, and I am having a writer's block, so bear with me please.

Chapter 8
Fripper's Perspective
---------------------------------------------------1 month later----------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, I was released from the critical injuries room. In case you haven't figured it out yet, my resistances and vulnerabilities are a little bit screwed up. My shadow defense is very, very low, and if it so much as makes a scratch, I would experience the same amount of pain when a rgular gremlin gets slashe by a Gran Faust. However, my elemental defense is phenomenal, so much that I'm almost invincible. Anyways, it's good to be out of that place and out in the real world again. And I'm expecting visitors. As planned, Herex entered my house at that moment. He had a somewhat serious face on for once.
"We finally drove out those knights stationed at the Core while you were in the critical injuries room. You shouldn't have any problems now."
I shrugged, a little skeptical. "That's what you said last time."
"Yes, but this time, I'm talking real."
I almost would regret the words that I was about to say. "Herex, I won't be joining you for this mission. The king has banished me, and he stated that 'You aren't like your old self anymore. When you fought that day, you weren't as tough as I knew you when I first promoted you. Get out of the Colony, ad stay out'. Those were his exact words." As I said these, my voice got trapped in my throat. I really wouldn't have any place to live. The knights would kill me, so Haven wouldn't be an option. Emberlight was also not an option, as knights visited that all the time. The other subtowns and terminals wouldn't be so joyful, and Tarn's house would be guarded day and night.
Herex was silent. "Why didn't you tell me before?" he finally said.
"I couldn't. I was told yesterday."
"So, when are you leaving?"
"At dusk."
"Well, then farewell my friend. We had some good times, and I will miss you. By the way, some other thing I want to talk about, completely unrelated. I heard that your girlfriend visited you quite a bit." It was true. Tamara had been visiting him a lot while he was in the hospital. "Maybe you should ask her to join you."
That last statement made me gasp. "That won't happen!"
"Why not? She's an outcast too, you know." That thought didn't occur to me. I nodded, then quickly said, "You'd better leave me in peace. I've got a ton of packing to do." Herex grinned knowingly, then left, closing the door behind him.
The next visitor was Tarn. "Sir, I understand that you were banished, and I'm sorry I didn't protect you fro-"
I waved him off. "No need for apology. What is done is done." And I kept thinking that for the rest of the day: Whatever is done, is done.
--------------------------------------------------At dusk------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just before I was about to leave, I was surprised yet again when Tamara came along to visit. Again, she remarked how she knows that I've been banished. She also said that she lost her outcast badge, and was to serve the Colony as a healer. "I'm sorry you have to go."
"Yes, so am I," I sad quietly. There was a long silence, then Tamara burst into tears and hugged me, sobbing against my chest. I hugged her awkwardly, unused to any sign of affection. Usually, when people made contact with me, unless if it was Herex, he would go home with bruises on his neck. But I still let Tamara cry on me. After a good two minutes of that, she finally stood back up, though her eyes were red and puffy. "I wish you didn't have to go. I hate it when you get yourself into danger, and I can't do anything about it, even if I want to! I'm coming with you this time."
I opened my mouth to object, but she quickly cut me off. "Don't try to protect me! With you and me together, we can face any adversary!" I was about to protest, but then I realized that what she said was true, and that I was trying to protect her. And that look in her eyes and the tone of her voice suggested no argument.
I nodded, and said "Let's go."
Fripper banned, Tamara joined back? Tamara leaves YET again, and likes Fripper. So Fripper found out he likes Tamara and she likes him. So they leave hand in hand, before Lasers blast them to hell.
yet agian.

Chapter 9
Fripper's Perspective
Me and Tamara have been roaming the Clockworks for a long time now, which is almost a week. Well, it felt like a long time. The only threat we faced was a Tier 2 knight party, each wearing 3* armor. None of them had Faust's or Nightblades, so I took care of them really easily, a death mark, a couple of knives in their back, done.
Now, it was nighttime again, and me and Tamara were sitting by a campfire, its flames licking in the air as if it were alive. Today, we picked some Forbidden Fruit and killed off a frostifur, so food wasn't a problem. The problem about the fruit, though, was that I almost gagged on the bittersweet taste. Tamara, being a healer, told me that they were healthy and nutritious. I didn't believe her then, nor did I now. The Frostifur meat would not heat up, no matter how long I roasted it, so that was out of the question. At that moment, I decided to go hungry for the night. As we sat there together and watched the fire crackle up into the air, Tamara began to say something. "My father died about eight years ago. I think you might know him. He was the previous Shadowmaster."
I was shocked. The idea was so unbelievable, I thought that she was joking at first. However, I've spent years studying peoples faces to see what they're thinking, and I saw that she was deadly serious.
She continued. "He always wanted to make me a ghostmane stalker, but I wanted to be a support unit, one that would bring health, not harm. My father didn't take this graciously. He threatened to send me to hell, but I wouldn't give in. There was no way I would kill anyone. My childhood was okay though. I often watched you and Herex play fight together out in the backyard." She said it somewhat wistfully.
I remembered seeing that pretty young face while me and Herex was pretending to march off to war, acting like the King's bodyguards. I smiled at that memory. My younger days, before I started training as a ghostmane.
"Days later, my father announced to me in triumph that he found another worthy candidate of training, possibly even becoming the next Shadowmaster. I assumed that he meant you."
I winced, but nodded yes.
"I don't hold grudges against you, Fripper," she explained gently. "But, I want you to answer my question."She paused, as if considering whether or not to tell me this. Finally, she told me. "Do you hold any grudges against me, Fripper? I know I caused you lots of discomfort, but I couldn't stop Herex from spreading rumors about you and me. Will you be my friend?" She said the word "friend" as if it had more than one meaning.
I nodded slowly, and replied quietly, "Yes, I will."
She relaxed visibly. Then, she did something that was completely unpredictable. She leaned forward, and planted a light kiss on my mouth. I returned the kiss, and we embraced for a few moments, then I murmured, "Let's get to sleep."
Tonight, I slept with Tamara under my arm, her gentle snore filling the air. I, however, couldn't sleep as I processed this information in my head. Tamara's father was my mentor, who hated her. I would promise myself that would never happen to her ever again, and fell into deep sleep.
----------------------------------------------------------------In a dream-------------------------------------------------------------------
I was standing in a firestorm. I reconized the Colony, but then I somehow didn't. The place was a wreck. Houses were destroyed, buildings leveled, and worst of all, dead bodies of gremlins out in the street, forgotten and left there to rot. A wolver like spirit suddenly stepped into my vision, and he spoke. "Greetings, Fripper. We finally meet at last."
"How do you know my name?"I felt no fear, only curiosity.
"I am Vog, deity of fire, the one who has created Lord Vanaduke. I have come with a proposal for you."
"And what might that be?"
"Your king has an evil plot to destroy Cradle. This vision that you are seeing is what would happen to the Colony if you don't act. You must kill Tinkinzar, before he launches his plan to destroy Cradle."
"So you want me to kill him. That'll be easy. I'll march in there and say something like, 'Sir, I've come back to kill you.' Do you really think I'll come back alive?"
"That's the exact problem. Which means you'll need help."
I was confused. "From the Order?"
"No. From your greatest enemy. The knights."
Now I was seriously confused. "The knights hate me, how do I get them to help me?"
Vog let out a deep-throated bark of amusement. "That, my friend, is something you'll figure out on your own. Now go. Kill Tinkinzar before he kills us all."
So, Fripper knows Tamara's dad is his mentor, and Fripper killed her dad, which makes Fripper kinda the savior of of her new girlfriend, who kissed and embraced him. Fripper sleeps with Tamra, his arm around her waist, and in his dream Vog, creater of Vanaduke, something of fire(Deity?) blah blah blah..... told him to go kill the king, which was his master like a few weeks back. Soo..... I got it right again? If I did, can I be the new Summarymaster? Fripper the Shadowmaster, and Topoyozariane the Summarymaster. /laugh. Oh and they fought some knights on the way to somewhere, killed a frostifur, got forbidden fruit. Frostifur won't burn up, and forbidden fruit taste horrible, so Fripper starves. Right?
P.S Tier 2 knights don't have Faust....
Which means Fripper beat them no proplemo. And why do you summarize every chapter? They're good summaries, just curious. BtW floks, I'd appreciae more readers. You asked for a date, so I gave you one.
New chapters ahoy! I have a lot of free time, so prepare for new chapters...for everyone who's reading :(

Chapter 10
Tamara's Perspective
I woke up, and saw the dawn light shimmering through the maze of pulleys and gears the Clockworks is. I looked over to Fripper, and saw that he was sleeping still, but that he was having bad dreams, from the way he was muttering in his sleep, and he was tossing and turning. Suddenly, he jumped out, wide awake, and screamed, "NOOOOOOO! NOT HER!!!" I put my hand on his shoulder for comfort, but it seemed to be barely helping. He hurriedly scraped his belongings into his bag, and he said, "Come on, we need to get to Haven." I stared at him, thinking that he couldn't possibly be sane. However, he was rushing to the nearest elevator, and shouted over his shoulder, "Come on, hurry up." I had no choice but to rush to the elevator, and just got to stand on the platform before it started to ascend.
By the time we got up, we got our weapons ready and totally raped the noobs talking to a Feron. He himself was as shocked as a Voltatic Tempest. It took us no problem to get him bundled up into a sack, and leaving him there, shaking around furiously and yelling curses and threats after us. Well, it would take a while before he found a way out of that sack.
----------------------------------------------------------Fripper's Perspective-----------------------------------------------------------
I made my way into the Haven Town square, and seeked out a few Spiral HQ members, then marched straight up to them and told them to take me to Ozlo. Tamara was right behind me while I stomped over to the knights "secret" hideout for their HQ. The truth was that with me around, no secret place would be secret any longer. Ozlo was surprised to see me standing outside his door, looking uncertain but resigned about the fact that I needed knight's help.
"What in Vog's name are you doing here?" he growled.
"Well, the answer is that in Vog itself. His spirit came to me in my dream, and told me to get help from you," I said the word "you" as if it were a huge insult.
"What for?" Now Ozlo was interested.
"To kill my king, Tinkinzar."
Any form of previous agreement disappeared as a pure face of disbelief crossed his face. "You're kidding, right?"
I leaned forward. "Look inside my eyes, Ozlo," I said the words slowly. "And see if you can see any sort of lying."
He examined my eyes carefully. "No," he said. "But I still can't trust you. I know by pure experience what a good liar you are."
I nodded. I had expected this, and I had my answer prepared. "I'll do something for you, then."
Ozlo considered, then nodded. "Very well. You can do a task to let us trust you. However, don't think it'll be easy." I nodded, and listened for my task.
"We lost a squad in the lost kingdom of Almire. Find them, and bring them back. Preferably alive."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had agreed, and now I prepared my Cold Iron Vanquisher. Tamara was hoping for me to stay. "It'll be dangerous," she had said.
I sighed. "I know, but the knights are our only hope to kill Tinkinzar. I need to do this."
"But you know undead do shadow damage. If you're hit even once, it'll put your life in jeopardy."
I smiled, without any humor. "That means that I won't get hit."
She stepped, a resigned look on her face. "Okay then. I see that there's no stopping you. Just be careful."
"I will," i said, confident in my skills of dodging. That was my previous job, anyways. I leaned in, and kissed her. She smiled, but even a kiss didn't wipe off the worried look on her face.
You don't want me to sumurize, then I won't. I would summarize the next chapter though, cause this chapter is a teensy bit too long.
Awesome! I will try and follow this until it dies!
