Basically this. And this.
If you watch closely, being within an extreme proximity to the bomb, or simply right on top, allowed you to get a lot of the shards to hit the same target(s.)

WELCOME TO SPIRAL KNIGHTS.

Basically, everything that

Basically, everything that the new shard bombs aren't: great damage, fun to play with, and useful. Not that the new shards aren't useful, it's just that.... It really takes some work to get them to be useful.....Uv's, using the right set, finding other people to use them with....they really do need a bit of a buff to get them even anywhere remotely close to where they once where in terms of damage output and usefulness. They are also absolutely horrid in LD.

To me, RSS was Spiral Knights. There are many other games I could go to in order to hack at stuff with swords or shoot them with guns, but none will let me plant Radiant Sun Shards. And now, not even SK will let me do that.

Its removal is an analogy of when this game died and became an entirely different, dilluted game that doesn't reach as far as the old one, has less of an impact, and acts kind of gl- okay yeah the analogy kinda stops there since I'll easily admit the games has much less bugs now than it used to.

It would've just been alright, if OOO kept the old Shard Bomb's attack.

If they did, the new Shard Bombs would actually be pretty useful.

No problem, it's just all good stuff. They're like visual memories, letting us look back on things like this anytime.
