Is a there a mission that has mechanised miles on the first level?
If not any missions in particular that are good for farming. Yes I have been farmin arcade but any missions that can be grinded would save me hassle of checking gates.

I found one.
Here's a tip, mate.
Blast furnace levels have 90-95% chance of having a cake nest. I've done the test. 9/10 Blast furnaces I've done had the Cake nest.
I've been riding the Diamond Skull gate depth 2-3. Both Blast Furnaces.
What I do is:
1) Wait for party to be at that exact level
2) Join
3) Go solo and wait for 2nd Blast furnace to cycle
4) ???
5) Profit!

Creep Cake nests spawn under the same conditions that Danger Rooms do, horizontal pathways in Clockwork Tunnel levels.
Now danger rooms don't appear in Missions, although I'm not sure if that means Creep Cake nests don't either.

Last night me n friends went
Last night me n friends went cake grinding, So far we have found that the levels with cakes are the "mech levels" (excluding doconstruction) So blast furnace, waste works, power complex, cooling complex and clockwork tunnels are your best bet. Pretty much any map with a "gear" on the elevator screen EXCEPT deconstruction maps.
In about 2 hours last night of running paths of mech maps i alone netted over 150 cakes and got 6 prize boxes, some of my other friends with "larger" friend groups farming made even more from "cake hoppin" between eachothers parties.
Which path u use is up to you just look at the arcade maps and see which paths have the most "gears" that are not deconstruction and run it. I personaly was hitting onyx gate and starting at tier 2. Id wait for the elevator to change from candlestick keep to power complex and hop in. Doing this i ran 2 or 3 viable maps in a row and often found cakes from at least one of the maps each run.
Mixing it up with friends all on there own paths and sending ivs. back n forth really helps your odds of picking up more cakes.

same levels as you were farming candies on dark harvest festival, except here you get same amount on every tier (weird, T3 should give more T1-3 T2-4 T3-5)

Tip for this kind of grinding event: get yourself an elevator pass. I don't have one, but they let you run through the levels faster without stopping to kill everything.
The only mission the cakes are in are the 'Prestige' menu, otherwise you HAVE to use the arcade clockwork tunnel levels to find them.
