With the recent UI update, we were finally able to discover that our long family-less friend Lord Vananduke is a fiend, seemingly settling the question of just what happened to him during the events that created the firestorm citadel (I.E he's a funky trojan-estique being). Unfortunately Vana himself does not seem to be aware of what the UI says he's supposed to be - one player recently reported on the SK wiki that not just does Vana not take damage from fiend UV's, but he DOES take damage from undead UV's. Since monsters in SK cannot currently be dual-listed as being part of two families, this means that either that SK player was wrong or that this is a bug. If the latter is true one of four things needs to be done about it:
1 - make Vana the first dual-family monster and make him vulnerable to both undead AND fiend UV's.
2 - remove the vulnerability to undead UV's and replace it with a fiend UV vulnerability (my personal preference seeing how Vana's backstory and attacks scream 'trojan!')
3 - Change the UI so as to make Vana undead, or
4 - Make Vananduke a familyless monster with no UV vulnerabilities.
On a side note, Shufflebots (which are both visually and UV-wise constructs) are referred to in-game as not having a family. It would be nice if this was resolved even though shufflebots are not nearly as interesting nor prominent as Vananduke.
